See eh.. Notin special bro..
Chinese rom does not have google apps. Like playstore
. Gmail etc but global rom has it. Becos chinese govt banned google apps in china.. So when you buy a chinese version version of the xiaomi.. The seller will flash global rom for the buyer which contains google apps.. And i prefer to buy the chinese version which the seller will flash global rom into becos it more solidly built compared to global version out of the box beta display etc.. This is becos chinese pple know their own tins wella.. And more also seller helps to unlock bootloader of the phone snd its a few dollars cheaper too

Now the first foto is the chinese variant but when d seller is sending it out of china he wl flash global rom... The second one is global from the boc
I agree with this. My seller sent me Chinese version and it came unlocked but with global ROM. When I wanted to add gcam ,na so so Chinese language e dey show. I was just confused and to make the matter worst, I just did a mistake writing a code and e no gree delete, I just dey observe. Thank God I know wetin I go , I for stuck in Chinese language.

I don't know why people will buy a nice , solid phone and be distributing it in the name of rooting and flashing ROM and reflashing ROMs ups and downs here. I think people romming and twerking heavily should stay away from this thread. May be they should create a thread at least to attract their fellows.
The way I see Xiaomi phones, they are well built and solidly protected. Single laptop crash during flashing can brick your phone. Tweaking and flashing should be only for high techky and developers that Xiaomi themselves are pushing to try something new. If you are not techky, you should stay away from even rooting, which to me don't even make much difference from unrooted phones. Back then, we root before for better performance, which is much easier on mediatek processors with just a click, but phones like Xiaomi and many snapdragons will give you headaches if you don't know how to. That's why they are solidly built with better ROM and ram.
Even my redmi 5 plus came with unlocked bootloader, if not, I will leave it as it is. All applications I needed are there or can be downloaded somewhere. Stay away from tweaking and flashing if you are not techky, I repeat. No body will save you here , may be noobody and his gangs by selling you new phones entirely. Enough said.

I saw a Mi 5x on jumia yesterday for N35800. The only reason why I didn't order for it was because It's payment before delivery. Before I could get to the bank today to deposit, it has already been sold out. Here's the link to the phone

nice one..Make noobs jus dey careful lasan... If i buy fone wey cost as much as huawei mate 10 Porsche edition, me i go still root and try custom roms and tweaks if available...
We jus different... Some of us re just too damn adventurous wif our fones...
Rooting and tweaking ya fones beyond d manufacturers' desire or design is at owners discretion...
