Ikoyi passport office said cancelation isn't possible. No way of doing anything elsewhere. And no progress on receipt revalidation and no 32-page booklets.

So I paid and processed 64pages with my initial capture to pick it up Wed. But I will go Thursday. I don't trust them.

Let's see..You need to see my applications and minutes on my regenerated file.

I couldn't get a reference letter on one of my employers letterhead. I got it from my Senior Manager on a plain sheet, notarized it and included a bank statement showing all salary payment from my employer.

I specially thank all those that have been resourceful here especially GlitteringStar, veleta, mcstan18, Newmum0615 and a host of others. May God bless you all.

Please how/where do you check the status of your application...my assumption was we get notified through mails as the application progresses into the different stages..kindly correct me if am wrong

Please has any one without a CFA qualification applied for Financial and Investment analyst NOC? I chose the NOC for Financial and Investment analyst, cos thats the closest to my job roles.

But one of the employment requirement is that "most emploers may require a CFA" but I dont have a CFA.

I am worried now. I have submitted my eAPR.

Don't worry your head with that. It states 'may require'. Moreover, those are employment requirements, not requirements for choosing the NOC. You'd be fine.

I think you should inform CIC that you changed jobs, don't talk too much about it unless they request for extra information, i don't think you must use a present occupation to apply for PR

That was how our pastor was leading prayer yesterday in church: I was just hearing God help me, I have nobody in Toronto. In my mind I was like 'shey my pastor too dey for this Canny parole ni?' I sha started praying until my wife (women can do aproko o, even inside church fah!) corrected me that the pastor meant he has nobody to run to. I remember my passport waka. I was told by a nice person at the immigrations office that I could capture with them and be on the queue for the booklet or travel to another state for instant passport. Meanwhile, my boss no de gree give leave. I went AWOL, enter road early in morning, got the passport and came home late at night.

March and it was Ekiti. The state that has booklets changes fast as people will come from out of state to get them. The immigration people can easily get the information of which state currently has booklets,
but might not want to tell you so you can pay money to them.
