They have a plan.

They want to use this as a yardstick for others that crossed to resign too

They have to explain why Tambuwal did not resign as speaker in 2014 first

Some PDP apologist have been so pained since yesterday, they have been trying to create various theories and permutations on Akpbio's impending defection

1) They argue Akpbio's sin will be forgiven but they forget that the likes of Dayrie a very important APC senator has just been convicted, They forget kalu's case is still in the court

2) Some of the more delusional ones claim it's a plot to plant a mole in the APC by PDP just like they did with Saraki and co

But a quick review of the details of the current happenings will expose the illusion some of their members are experiencing grin

a) Ganduje the current governor of Kano has always been a member of PDP since 1999. He even contested the PDP primary elections with Kwankorso as far back as 1999 but didn't defect with his former friend/master as part of the supposed elaborate skim

b) Senator Akume that drove out Gemade and Ortom from Benue's APC was a two time governor under the PDP, but he wasn't part of this elaborate skim as alleged by PDP supporters

c) Senator Wamakko and his political grandson Tambuwal were once in ANPP before both crossing to PDP and again to APC together, but Senator Wamakko is not part of the elaborate skim too

So it's quite clear from the submissions above that there's no skim, but a drive to achieve personal goals and to accomplish self-actualization by everyone involved.

Nonetheless, I expect PDP members to continue to masturbate at any news that can keep them busy or give them a sense of victory, it seems they really need it.

What is minority leader?

My man is tired of being minority....

Some people that have been celebrating and 'beating chest' on Saraki and others' defection will not take to this but will result to wailing, name calling and insult as usual.

They don't just understand politics but very very hypocritical and emotional

Despite his move, he still remains in the Senate minority
Re: Senator Akpabio Resigns As Minority Leader (Photo) by 2019elections: 8:41am On Aug 07, 2018
The minority leader is voted in by the minority party in the house. You can't switch to the majority party and still be the minority leader. So, he has to resign.

In the case of saraki, he was appointed by all members of the house and not just a section, hence, he is expected to resign.

This is what Saraki should have done the moment he switched to the minority party. But being the thief and diabolical soul he is, he chose to contravene the law and expected everyone to accept it like that.

Good one from Akpabio.

No impunity from him

Really if Saraki was so sure of himself He should not have sent the Senate on recess

The position of senate president and that of minority leader are not same. You can still be the senate after defection but you cannot be a minority leader when you are in the majority.

The scene is all too familiar. Cristiano to Juventus in a sudden big money move, unfollows Real Madrid on social media and Akpabio has found every reason to tow this.

This transfer season in the history of Nigerian history is unprecedented.

His resignation is aimed at Saraki so he can copy from Akpabio and do the same too. There is no doubt Saraki will be taken out in few days. Osinbajo and Oshiomhole right now. grin grin

Such childish reasoning. His position was minority leader, leading only the PDP members of the senate.
Saraki is president of the whole senate.
Do you see the difference?
