TheGoodJoe:Doesn't matter. He clearly wasn't a fit. He's better off leaving. It's easier for Foden because he's naturally a Pep sort of midfielder. |

goldfish80: Yes, obj is well informed yet billions meant for power projects were siphoned under his nose. U sure dey naija!? Whether dry season or not, with generator powering the stadiums, hotels, etc light will not be an issue. After all, we have hosted FIFA competitions despite shortage of power. Abi, you know know? Even as developed as korea is, dey get stand by generator for stadiums, hotels, homes etcetera why? Because dem dey take light sometimes yet dem hosted FIFA world cup. What are those infrastructures you're talking about? I think they only exist in your imagination because the ones I know are currently under construction. EOD |

Curtisaxel7: I have just opened my mouth in TOTAL BEWILDERMENT. How is somebody suppose to live on 15k a month. I am not ostentatious but on a good average night out one can easily spend 100k in Lagos with a few friends. Please are you being serious ❓ because I find that very hard to believe 15k. |

edi287: What makes you think because Nacho naturally did not suit the system, he can not adapt. Aguero was a clear misfit but with dedication and hardwork, he adapted and fits in seamlessly. |

Tanzania also made a great hire. Amunike has played at the highest level and he has not been shy as a coach. I believe we will see the best of him in Tanzania which is almost as good a working situation as you can find in Africa. Hopefully it all comes back home in the end. Siasia abeg go find work o!! The guy reminds me of gradates that say they will only work a certain job even though they know those jobs are not available while others are. 7 Likes 1 Share |

TheGoodJoe:Because he simply couldn't. I think it's clear to everyone that whatever Playmaking/link up ability he had at U17 has vanished. Aguero's case was mainly from a physical aspect (for pressing). Let's not act like Aguero isn't superb on the ball. 1 Like |

forgiveness: FiFA U17 and U20 world cups were conceived by FIFA to develop the game talent-wise and also the infrastructure in developing countries. That is why you see countries like Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago,Nigeria, Finland and the likes host those tournaments. Even the U17 world cup Nigeria hosted, proved to be very challenging. FIFA threatened at some point to strip Nigeria off the hosting right since we were behind schedule in preparations. Our good o'l friend Jack Warner did us a favour by collecting $omething which proved quite persuasive. Even at that, Mexico, I think was in line to replace Nigeria at a point. The tournament itself wasn't smooth sailing.I was at the stadium when Costa Rica played Turkey and the lights went off! 15mins. Some games were held up due to waterlogged pitch. The same scenario played out in 99. Infact Nigeria was supposed to host the earlier edition but because we were behind schedule in addition to the breakout of an epidemic disease, was it yellow fever? That right was stripped and pushed up to 99. Then came 99, we were also behind schedule that the hosting right was yet again almost stripped but for our O'l friend again (Jack Warner) coming to the re$cue. He collect wella and even went home with a chieftency title. His influence was pivotal in FIFA retaining Nigeria as host in 99. Nigeria is a poor 3rd world country. Wheather anyone likes it or not. The much talked about 2018 budget is largely financed by foreign aids and you're here making mouth. Excuse me. 5 Likes |

edi287:How did Nacho's playmaking skills vanish? Did you see some of his assists at City? A lot of you forget that Nacho posted some good games under Guardiola. Guardiola prefers Gabriel Jesus because of the fight he brings to the team. Something Aguero has improved on. With time, Nacho would have adapted but as I said, there is not only one road to Jerusalem. Finito. |

Danielnino00: Warming bench does not mean lack of progress, especially if he gets to work day in day out with one of the best coaches in the history of football and train with some of the finest players in the game today. The suggestion is about building attributes and becoming a better player. Finito. |
