How did Nacho's playmaking skills vanish? Did you see some of his assists at City?

A lot of you forget that Nacho posted some good games under Guardiola. Guardiola prefers Gabriel Jesus because of the fight he brings to the team. Something Aguero has improved on.

With time, Nacho would have adapted but as I said, there is not only one road to Jerusalem.

Finito.
please what did nacho do at the world cup..... Just stop already... From Rohr to Pep to Puel... All have complained about his fitness.... You are here saying what you like..... Stop beating a dead horse.... Smh

Warming bench does not mean lack of progress, especially if he gets to work day in day out with one of the best coaches in the history of football and train with some of the finest players in the game today. The suggestion is about building attributes and becoming a better player.

Finito.

And what becomes of his career if he keep warming the bench??

I have just opened my mouth in TOTAL BEWILDERMENT.

How is somebody suppose to live on 15k a month. I am not ostentatious but on a good average night out one can easily spend 100k in Lagos with a few friends.

Please are you being serious ❓ because I find that very hard to believe 15k.

If I let you in on the know how much I take home a month ,you will definitely fret

A school near my house pays 10K and some times owe the young ladies for three to five months.

I am amazed beyond words.

Are these graduate teachers ❓

This is really shocking, I had no idea things were this bad. I mean I pay my driver 50k a month when I am in Lagos. Admittedly these are short term contracts not more than 6 months.

One of my Aunties has a school in Ph and no teacher gets less than 200k. She even sponsored about 12 of the teachers to come to the UK on a educational seminar for two weeks.

There seems to be huge disparities in salary structures in Nigeria.

Some people earn 8-10K a month, yet it is still not regular.

My brother, that is the society we find ourselves in.

Bruv that's madness.

I really didn't know the depth of depravity in terms of what people earn.

It's crazy

What pains me most is when Komekn criticizes and analyses our so called future prospect and guess What? He is damn right. From Nacho to success to Osihmen and now my focus in Nwakali. Seems something is really wrong. It is even the ones that we don't focus on that are gradually climbing silently. At this rate, Europa might be where most of prospects might end up. I just pray they keep improving

What does Nacho's World Cup performance have to do with the point raised. This is totally off point. I mean, baffling. Get the point before arguing. At least try.

200K? That is amazing. Probably one of the Flamboyant schools in Port Harcourt. However, even the Flamboyant schools pay nothing close to that. Heck, State Civil Servants earn 50K.

Things are bad. I know lawyers in Port Harcourt earning 30K. Most survive with a lot of struggle outside their jobs. We even have Civil Servants doing petty businesses at the State Secretariat.

Like seriously, you equate me saying Nacho to warm bench and learn to mean he is miles ahead for Messi. I can not find the relationship with benching meaning better than Messi.

What a shocking comment.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that top Belgium clubs along with Ajax Amsterdam, OGC Nice, Marseille and Borussia Mönchengladbach have turned their attention to one of the biggest talents in Slovakia, AS Trenčín's Abdul Zubairu.

The extremely mobile midfielder was recently rated amongst the best talents in Slovakia by Fortunaliga alongside ex teammate Hilary Gong, who completed a move to Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem

The Nigerian wonderkid who opted to depart the shores of Nigeria despite interest from the youth national team has drawn serious interest from several European clubs due to his immense talent and defensive similarities to Chelsea's World Cup-winning midfielder N’Golo Kante.

A box-to-box destroyer, Zubairu is also blessed with playmaking abilities and is capable of initiating attacks and creating opportunities with his vision.

Trencin are understood to have slapped a hefty price tag on the player, having recognised that they have unearthed a precious diamond.

Zubairu hails from the famous GBS Academy in Nigeria which produced the likes of Ahmed Musa, Samuel Kalu, Moses Simon and many more.

Trencin are currently studying offers received in respect of the midfielder and according to a source close to the 19-year-old, his agent Tony Harris has already informed Zubairu that a transfer is very imminent.

I am sorry you have scattered my HEAD.

I have many relatives who are struggling, and when sometimes they call me or text me saying they don't have 10k. I'll be honest I found it hard to believe.

But now I know better, thank you.

I admit I'm still struggling to comprehend, there are hotels you pay 45k a night and the staff dont get that in a month.

That is immoral.

No Nigerian player will take part in Liverpool's friendly with Torino at Anfield this evening, both clubs have confirmed via their official websites.

Super Eagles star Joel Obi was not in Torino's traveling party to the United Kingdom while England U21 star Dominic Solanke was not considered in a 24-man squad list announced by The Reds.

Torino have explained that Obi is unavailable because he is still recovering from parainfluenza syndrome but there might be something more behind that news, with the midfielder being linked with a summer departure from the Turin club.

Tuttosport says Parma are hoping to complete a deal for the Nigerian this week and they have been negotiating with Torino for several days.

AC Milan, Celta Vigo and Crystal Palace are the other clubs Obi has been linked with in the summer transfer window.

The former Inter Milan wonderkid spent the 2013-2014 season on loan at Parma, making eight appearances in the Italian topflight.

EFL Championship side Brentford have re-signed Nigerian fullback Moses Odubajo on a one-year deal, with the option of a further year, informs The Bees on their official website.

Although Odubajo began his career at Leyton Orient in 2009, it was at Brentford where he made his name before transferring to Hull City in 2015.

Having trained with the Griffin Park outfit, the 25-year-old has been offered a contract and is set to add to his 49 appearances for the club this season.

Commenting on the deal, head coach Dean Smith stated : ''Moses clearly has the qualities we are looking for in a Brentford player. He is a good personality, a quality footballer and someone who wants to get better.

''He has had a tough couple of years with injuries but we are confident that, when managed correctly, we can get the best out of him and get him playing football to the standard we know he is capable of.

''We are all looking forward to working together.''

A former England U20 international, Odubajo was called up to a Nigeria U23 training camp in December 2014 but did not make the trip to Abuja due to club commitments.

He has also played for St Albans City, Sutton United and Bishop's Stortford.

FiFA U17 and U20 world cups were conceived by FIFA to develop the game talent-wise and also the infrastructure in developing countries.
That is why you see countries like Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago,Nigeria, Finland and the likes host those tournaments.

Even the U17 world cup Nigeria hosted, proved to be very challenging. FIFA threatened at some point to strip Nigeria off the hosting right since we were behind schedule in preparations. Our good o'l friend Jack Warner did us a favour by collecting $omething which proved quite persuasive. Even at that, Mexico, I think was in line to replace Nigeria at a point.
The tournament itself wasn't smooth sailing.I was at the stadium when Costa Rica played Turkey and the lights went off! 15mins. Some games were held up due to waterlogged pitch.

The same scenario played out in 99. Infact Nigeria was supposed to host the earlier edition but because we were behind schedule in addition to the breakout of an epidemic disease, was it yellow fever? That right was stripped and pushed up to 99. Then came 99, we were also behind schedule that the hosting right was yet again almost stripped but for our O'l friend again (Jack Warner) coming to the re$cue. He collect wella and even went home with a chieftency title. His influence was pivotal in FIFA retaining Nigeria as host in 99.

Nigeria is a poor 3rd world country. Wheather anyone likes it or not. The much talked about 2018 budget is largely financed by foreign aids and you're here making mouth. Excuse me.

Despite the fact Nigeria was poo in 1999 yet we hosted the FIFA competition. How come?

No hotels, potopoto and smelling roads allover Lagos, crime everywhere, no light at all over the country, etc yet we hosted the world cup. What an irony.

All those talk of behind schedule and Warner collecting something doesn't add up because even Germany, Russia and Qater have all been alleged to rob hands, and Brazil was also behind schedule. So, let us find new thing talk.

Yes! Light went off during one match during the world cup then but we still did well after we just coming out from the hands of autocratic regimes.

I attended all the matches played in Lagos including the finals btw Mali and spain and things went well. So, I don't know where you watched your matches.

Anyway, we can host the world cup by co hosting it with Morocco and other west African countries included Cameroun. After all, America, Canada and Mexico are going to host the edition after QATAR.
