This happens on rare occasions but not like it is a mistake from the embassy. It is intentional because they will clearly tell you in the AM to send your BA confirmation, Insurance and passport for visa to be issued, if it was a mistake as you think, they would not ask you to forward it via courier together with the other two documents.

How copies of your passport data page did you take along for the interview? From the checklist it looks like they are asking for 8[(original + 2 copies) * 2 copies]

What about the signed declaration? It looks like they asked for 6 in total.

AM = Approval Mail. Means your visa is approved and ready for collection.
BA= Blocked account which is about €8900 lately. Consist of your monthly expenses for 12 months.

SL=Sponsorship letter. This can be used in the stead of a BA. It's been issued by a working German resident on your behalf.

Some private schools still gives admission... For example my school (SRH Hochschule Berlin. Dresden Campus) u could even apply for scholarship before 15th of this month cus school resumes first week of october...but the issue is Visa appointment date...its hard to get this period. Just try ur luck.

So University of Bremen Environmental Physics department decided to send my admission letter today. Though I applied on July 12th. Was told that they received lots of application. Course admitted - Environmental Physics PEP Masters.

Please house I want to find out if anyone has been denied interview because he/she has notification of Degree result and not Degree Certificate. Please urgent response will be appreciated. They refused to grant interview to a friend in Abuja this morning because he has only notification of result.

Wow. One of the departments I gained admit into, wants to commence students assistant positions like the US. Received the notification today from the course coordinator.Student assitants are to receive monthly stipends, and will be required to work in the lab, or assist a Prof. This will help students like me!

I went for my interview today at the German Embassy, Abuja. The V.O, a light-skinned woman, insisted I get my original degree certificate and reapply for appointment.

Nb: I graduated in 2016. I went to my school two weeks ago and was told my certificate wasn't ready. I explained this to the V.O. I even attached the statement of result and transcript.

I'm doing everything possible to get my school to print the certificate.

Has any1 here had issues like this that warrant reapplication? How possible will it be to get interview appointment again?

I would advice you use dhl,it took nipost almost a month to deliver my documents to uni assist. I almost died of restlessness .

I would suggest you consider the options for scholarship as option Z, frankly speaking the requirements for obtaining a german scholarship is quite tough. if you observe clearly a good number of us here are looking for a way out either through SL or BA.

But if you wanna try, then look out for DAAD scholarships, Heinrich boll, or one MBA scholarship like that (kofi Annan scholarship for African students) or you just make google your girlfriend.
