Should I say welcoming the bears? I could be wrong though, their MM might be more than prepared.

Mendes911 did you open that GTB H1 result ?
On a serious note you and Agba needs to stop all these jokes because some people here don’t open results, they just wait to read comments about the results and may take your comments serious..
please do not badmouth a good result because you want to buy a stock at a low price..
Let all the joke stop.

During election week will be proper, because there will be election bonanza. Bear must surely visit the market with election bonanza.

Because I did not say after swearing in abi ? if there’s a new president. Lol
What is the guarantee that the bear will not continue after the election ?
With the way things are going it’s safe to wait till after election and make sure there’s no political instability in the country.

very correct, the fact that i want to get these stock at a very discounted prices does not mean i should rubbish fantastic result, GTB AND zenith remains my best stock any day and any time. With the current free falls, they will naturally get to my bustop.

I never said in my post that their result is bad.

I believe that what's keeping both Zenith and GTB where they are presently is Q2 results and interim results and with it's release, sellers will start selling as fast as they can. I have seen it happen over and over before.

Maybe my post wasn't clear enough. I have also maintained that everyone should have their own plan and expectation, I was only disclosing mine. Any stone is welcomed, I still believe that the dumping will soon start. Am also permitted to be wrong about my assumption but note that never have I ever claimed to have insider information, just my thoughts.

Apologies if my earlier post was ambiguous in any way.

CP,

I hardly go after the heavy weights when the chips are down, Fidelity, FCMB and Diamond have been my targets over the years. When they go down, they remain there for a while before taking off. I will join the bus when am ready and I must not join at the bottom as nobody knows the bottom.

Zenith (and hardly GTB) comes into play when I shop around for quick 10% - 20%.

There is nothing wrong with predicting that a stock will go down.

Stocks can either go up or down. Why are people only happy when the prediction is in the upward direction?

From Yok's posts, we could all see the handwriting on the wall in the past months: Massive sells from the foreign guys...It's not about fundamentals, it is election fever. If they are selling that much, something will have to give: Prices will go lower.

GT is the biggest component of the MSCI Nigeria index. They haven't been dumping it so much. The price of GT in the next months will depend on whether or not they decide to dump it. It isn't about fundamentals. Same for all stocks in that portfolio.

Do not be caught offside. Better protect yourself.

still i dont see anything wrong in that, the company might be sound but considering the situations in Nigeria now one can predict the direction of even the best performing stocks

Give those predictions on stocks that performed badly and see if Yayira will not support ok ?

You talking about foreign guys selling have you ever asked yourself who are those buying ? A trade involves two people and neither you nor I knows who is buying or selling. It might be the foreign guys buying..

And please I don’t follow Yok MSCI delayed post.. They post what they want you to see
