It’s just a joke. I’ve not even see Mauruf play
BascoVanVeli:

What are his glaring weaknesses?

You are one of the best I ever witnessed play for the super eagles. I will always be proud of the way you fought for the shirt. People will talk alot of nonsense but you shall surely be missed in Nigerian football.

I dey fine Marvellous Basco.. cool

For the Falconets, I will try follow updates. May not watch the game live though as I'll likely be somewhere occupied. Wishing the girls all the best...but Spain is a different wall to climb. Time will tell.

We beat Spain last time but I trust the last coach so much more. I am totally convinced about the quality of our players but like you said time will tell.

Sad about Vic Moses retirement. He was our best player during the WCQs.
We lose a great individual player but we might turn out to be better off as a team. Like someone said, his body language at times made it look like he wasn't committed enough.
Wish him the best and hopefully one of Onyekuru, Samuel Kalu, Bazee, etc steps up.

We was not the best. Never been our best in any tournament but he was no doubt one of our best

c'mon that's the best news tonight....the other news that will beat this, should be Ighalo retirement, buhari extension of his leave in UK and dalung getting sacked by the VP.
at least rohr and crew can now focus on getting lukman play for us.
even kalu can step into that shoes quite well.

no one gonna drag free kicks and penalties with etebo, nancho and Simon Moses anymore.
so happy bro

And he is still young.

Playing in the Serie A will add things to his game.

Sir BascoVanVeli, I was going to mention this much earlier but it skipped my mind.

Please, Raphael Ayagwa... How good is this lad? Signed earlier today with Lillestrom, Norway from Plateau Utd.

Just look at his progress report.....going higher...
Udinese is a mid table club..but he has entered into CATANACCIO mentality...take it...his skills as a defender will be horned here.....Serie A is among top five leagues....

There was time Udinese-with low budget-use to play year in year out in the champion league...i think one Francesco Guidolin use to be their coach

Baller!! The boy doesn't lack confidence at all. He is the one that took the panenka penalty in the champions league against one north African club. He is a scoring midfielder very slick.

Cool. Very cool. I saw a clip of the penalty in that Plateau game on the continent. Didn't even know that was him. Thanks Marveollous One. wink

Semi Ajayi is one to keep an eye on. He has improved a lot from the under 20 days and is now playing in the Championship. A good CB addition to the super eagles.

All these moves to EPL,Serie A, La Liga and Primera Liga by our players are huge. They now have the platform to showcase their talents and elevate their status and game as Nigerian players. All that we ask is that these dudes seize their opportunities, fight for decent play time and strive for excellence.

Ekong might as well be listed as Udinese/Watford because they are owned by the same family and they have swapped players in the past.

Good one. Have played 180 mins in the Championship so far with a clean sheet. Remember him from his younger days at Arsenal youth. Eyes also on him.
Stands at 1.93m.. impressive height for a CB.

He played for Nigeria under 20. He was terrible then but he has grown in leaps and bounds. He is now a very decent player.
