Why do we get too emotional with the comments of people that always shout bears bears bears? I do not think there is ever anyone that has never lost money in this market. I have lost and I have also gained. Do I like it when the bulls are raging? Yes, I do. I am currently in negative positions in some stocks. Am I jittery or ready to cut my losses and move out of the market because of the comments of some people? No, I am in this market for long. In fact, I am looking to take positions in some good stocks if they tank lower. My opinion is that anyone that is angry because some people are shouting bears bears bears has no reason to touch this market. Are there fears around to suggest that it could get worse? Yes, there are. To live in denial of this is a great disservice to oneself. Stock market goes up and down. A colleague shared an experience of someone that invested 6m into Dangote Sugar and within 4 months exited with a cool profit of N19m. If that same person had waited until now, the profit will just be N9m. Therefore, I see no reason why anyone should be angry. Oga current price and Fuxer, I need your views on both Okomu Oil and Presco. CAP Plc is looking more and more interesting for a good acquisition. UPDC Reits is good for those that love dividend returns. The price now is interesting. But to bail out may be serious wahala. 1 Like |

Oga Agba, you are an investigative officer that has no borders. I just double checked, the period would have been more than the 4months. The high of Dangote Sugar in the 52 weeks is 23.95 and the least of N6 dates back to 2016/2015. Agbalowomeri: |

To the TA gurus in the house, please help your brother... I desire TA on Caverton... Not because I want to buy but because I can't take the losses any more but the piling bids has held me for days while the price keeps tanking. |

Truely,I dont know why people are still shouting bears when other businesses are there for one to invest. Smart people who saw what will happen took away some money from stock market months ago to invest in other areas that will give returns if the market tank further. People(like me) who left some stocks in their portfolio till now are not in need of the money. They believe in the fundamentals of the stocks they are holding and ready to average down at the best time.our economy is still ok only that election is around the corner. Pls stop shouting bears bears.we already know this is the time of the bears or what gain will you have if you persuade people o sell their stocks at losses. BROTHERS,GET OTHER PROFITABLE BUSINESSES DONE,MAKE YOUR MONEY AND PUT TOGETHER FOR STOCK MARKET RALLY WILL SHOW FACE AGAIN.YOU WILL MAKE IT BIG IN THE NEXT RALLY. 1 Like |

locodemy: Shouting is their calling...like the prophets of yore that shouted from the mountain tops. They will soon start shouting bull bull after they have amassed enough spoil at grave robber rate. The new song will be for them to dump at high rate and the new bear bear rendition will recommence. |

Na bear and bull market we dey. We cant take away shouting of bear and bull, let individuals have defined investment objectives that works best for him/her and stick to it. Na my own contribution be that. For instance, nobody fit take the calling away from Oga Chibuking. Btw: Battle for the 'soul' of zenith ongoing. Fidelity bank not spared. |
