I can't begrudge Musa. He was offered life changing money. No European club will offer him that much money. And depending on his true age, this might be the time to cash out before he starts depreciating.

Anyway, it's still a sad situation when your best player in Russia heads to Saudi Arabia after scoring of one the top ten goals in world cup tournament.

Not good for our football at all. Musa is not poor by any standard and could still manage at least two more seasons in Europe before heading towards Saudi. It's his choice anyway, hope he doesn't end up like ighalo in few years time.

KPOM! And I would expect Musa to retire from the national team duties as well. Yes, he had a decent tournament in Russia but he ain't getting any younger.

After going to the world cup and CHAN which everybody bashed, what has he achieved.
I don't just blame you, see as e dey sweet you to talk "after going for World Cup, what else?" go and ask Ghana and their own FA "what else?" after World Cup.

Is it not Pinnick that gave coach the free hand to even invite some of these FBs without whom Nigeria would have missed out on the World Cup? You think we would have qualified if it was the likes of Okpotu and Eve Ambrose that we had as players?

Go and ask the Ivorian FA "what else?"

I no just blame you, when you are not the one sitting in a position, you can comfortably sit down and be running mouth and asking "what else aside World Cup?".

Upon all the heat Pinnick was facing in-house, he managed to pull sponsorships left and right. Even as our World Cup went bust, the Nigerian team was still greatly celebrated around the world, if for nothing, our Jersey. When last did you see any jersey get the kind of publicity ours did? We were on VOGUE, the team was profiled by BBC, People saw us for good for once because of Pinnick and you have the effrontery to ask, "what else?"

E dey do me like say make I plank you for that careless statement, but I no blame you, how I wan blame you?

I dont know much about Richard. It wasn’t a generalization. There are special cases. For example, even if Tammy turns out successful for the Three Lions he would hardly be the toast of Nigerian fans. Still he would become an English football legend. That’s an example.

forgiveness:

Why is Richard Owubobiri not the toast of Nigerian fans despite his exploit in Europe?

Okay, what has that got to do with my post?

forgiveness:

Sam Okwaraji, Muda Lawal and Mutui Adepoju are also legends.

The NFF is supposed to look after Nigerian football not just the super eagles. You talking about NIKE but it was a slave contract so what are we talking about here? Nigeria has been in VOGUE for a while now and NIKE played on that fact while copying one of our old designs, so don't come here singing false praises to Pinnick. Our stars sold those jerseys not the NFF or NIKE.

This is the right time to move to Saudi when the ovation is loudest. In 2 years time, he will not be offered the same money.

Footballers have a short career to make the most money possible.

Congrats boy. Atleast, we have one defender playing in the Serie A, a league reputed for its defensive tactics and toughness. Udinese aint just ur average midtable Serie A club, it's an Italian giant.

It's amazing how this guy's career has progressed. He's had his ups and downs but he remained resilient and at the same time, grounded. He was phenomenal at the Olympics and unlike our other Turkish contingents, bar Omeruo, dude distinguished himself, and now, look what has come his way. I'm happy for u boy

Ok e don do. Moses is a Wigan/AFCON 2013 legend grin

See eh, I like Victor Moses oh, but the word legend have already been abused before now. So Carry go

forgiveness:

Moses was already a popular figure in the EPL with Wigan and that was the main reason Chelsea bidded 5 times for him before Chelsea bought him from Wigan.

He could had played for England during that particular peeiod when he was adjourned the best dribbler in the EPL but he refused and still played for Nigeria.

Check your facts right, abeg.

Never in the history of Nigerian football have we pulled in as much sponsorship. We went to a world cup with no bonus issues.

If not for this giwa issue, we would have done a lot more of the field.
