You guys cut him slack because he is not British. The guy started this season the way he ended the last one. I am beginning to think he is average.

Mourinho knows his weakness that is why he never played him on the left side of the central defence. Instead, Jones or Smalling play there which is less comfortable for right legged players. At the end, people would think those who played on the left were poorer.

We would have been better off if Valencia, Matic, Sanchez were fit to start.

The guy has always not shown sign of NOT knowing some basic rules of depending other than offering much power, speed and ball control in his play.

Jones and Smalling had covered many of his poor reading of the game in the past. Both Bailly and Jones started last season as pair, and we were blasting away with good defending and results in the early part of the season before they injured. But Jones actually offered more game reading than Bailly.
