Develpeast: Will the rigging allow APGA win all the states in South East? Do you think Okorocha won his second term? APGA was a gift from Ojukwu to Ndiigbo but lacking in vision we dont know wat to do with it. I find it funny the way Abuja can play with Igbo political elite as if they were children and intimidate them. By now, I expect the entire east to be APGA and very organised. 2 Likes |

APGA should be positioned to move into SS and states like Benue,Taraba and even Kogi. As we speak, Ndiigbo are sitting and watching while yoruba and Buahri position themselves for yet another four years of torturing and murdering Ndiigbo. 3 Likes 1 Share |

If Lebaran Maku from Nasarawa and a former Minister can take APGA membership this seriously, how much more Ndiigbo? I think our problem is misseducation and we really need reorientation. The mind appears lost without origin or destination. We either sit up or continue to fall victim to those we are better than. 4 Likes 1 Share

hammer6F: If we can mobilize from the rural areas to the urban; the illiterates to the literates; the old and the young; the women and the children; the men and the youths. We should make it a thing of a must that Okuko is the only party in the east. We will make a head way in holding these politicians to ransom. They will have to sign agreements that they must follow to the letter or they will be impeached or recalled within 3months of defaulting. It will also make it easier for us that have better mindset about the region to easily infiltrates the ranks of the party. The various parties in the region is making harmonization of dreams difficult. Just 5 states and 3 political parties. How will they come into an agreement about anything? They different parties and those parties have different ideologies and goals. At this time of our lives we need a unified front to fight off these evils prevailing in our region. Even if we do not make it to the presidency, the different political parties will have to come to an agreement with us before they can win any election in the country. Atleast we will be sure that we will be getting something from the centre instead of someone in the centre. 2 Likes |

They tell you APGA is a regional party and you believe them, not knowing that they fear APGA and Igbo land not being under their dictate and control. Rather than build a formidable alternative, everybody want to join APC and PDP with a very bad record of office. If you dont have faith in your own product, who do u expect will buy it? They have created AAC and very soon Igbos will leave APGA to go and join Sowore and Tinubu? Wen APGA is there. 4 Likes 1 Share |

2019 is around the corner, should we vote haphazardly or we should vote just one political party and let others defect into the party the region accepts as its own. With the way we keep defecting for personal reasons, I find it difficult to know the real plan of igbos in this country. The southeast caucus in the house of assembly seems to be the weakest in the red chamber. There has never been a time they pushed something into fruition. They always feign ignorance after the whole episode has been dissected in the social media. We are lacking visionary leaders in the region and most importantly, people who are ready to die for the people. They are all thieves. 3 Likes 1 Share |

nnamdijonathan:I don't even know where to start addressing this mess you vomited up there. You implicated yourself all through. You stated that the North's exclusive long hold on power did not and have not helped them as they are being ravaged by poverty and turned around to blame Igbos who held appointments in the past for not developing Igboland. What da Bleep are you blabbing about Oga? You wasted a whole space yapping without even addressing the very cause of Nigerian crisis which is the structure. Sad to say. Again, the discussions here so far was never centred on blaming anyone for Igbo woes but strictly on optimising our human and material resources. And sir, there is systemic marginalisation of Igbos in Nigeria. It is not only shrouded in the extant laws but also a matter of covert federal policy. We still manage to overcome these odds nevertheless. Your infantile rants and denial of this obvious fact that even the so called northerners you appeal to have acknowledged clearly gave your rants away as another smoky noise. Do you want me to start giving you federal projects cited in other regions without an equivalent in Igboland? Let's start with the recent Railway masterplan which saw Igboland completely exempted. What about the recent concessions of selected international airports in the country with Akanu ibiam Airport exempted too? Infact Akanu Ibiam Airport was not even gazetted as an international airport for starters and oga,Mr alanlyser,it does not strike you as odd and premeditated? Attention should also be given to your silly analysis of Lagos! Have never heard or seen such blank ignorance and misfiring analysis on rampage! Please note: Lagos is Federal government and Federal government is Lagos! All the governors have been doing are window dressing. To even consider Lagos developed by any stretch of indices showed some of you really need to travel out and see what development truly is. Kualar Lumpur,New Delhi,Mumbai,Seoul,Karachi etc are all contemporaries of Lagos but your so called centre of excellence can't even hold a torch for those other cities today on any index of advancement bar none! For you to even compare the dynamics of Lagos to any other state, much less South Eastern states further gave you away. Please stick to the spirit of this thread(not trend.take note). 14 Likes 1 Share |

Develpeast: Wat we need in Igboland is a well structured, funded and managed APGA. Secondly, we need a militia(cult) to eliminate those Igbo people that will be used to destabilize Ala Igbo. Igbo are money crazy and with the right amount of money, some will stop reasoning and only see the Dollar sign, so u can actually buy them to Bleep up the progress in their region. We need a militia to take care of those. Thirdly, we need to understand that our money is our power and that we dont need no permission from anybody to start setting up vital infrastructure required on our land. The land is ours and the money is ours, so wat are we waiting for and whose permission are we waiting for. Forthly, Igbo need to stop displeasing themselves to please others, we have to see things for what they really are. Me, Myself and I first all the time. I doubt my people are ready for this preliminary stages that i noted. 6 Likes 1 Share |

nnamdijonathan:i read ur 1st post and i read this one. I know wat u mean. Igbos are locating their factories outside igboland and our politicians have done little to develop igboland. The truth is that people will start business where they will make more money...and many businesses differ. As many igbos are locating their business outside, many are also locating theirs inside igboland. We can only keep shouting and hope more igbos will locate their business in igboland. As for biafra. I believe getting biafra now or weneva is very good. So long as we get igboland complete. If we do, then we are self sufficient. We have seaport in p.h. we have many power plants in igboland...one is located in oji river enugu..my state. As for people losing their businesses...dont forget that globacom and many yoruba owned banks and businesses are in igboland. Do u think nigerian govt wont want to protect those businesses? It would be a quid pro quo something. As for 10 million igbos relocating..we dont know for sure that there are up to 10million igbos living outside igboland...forget naija statistics...but remember a large number of igbos in diaspora return every xmas. We havent run out of land to accomodate them yet. Biafra or igbo nationhood is still a good policy 6 Likes |

hammer6F: Ndigbo don't need a secret army.At least not now. We might need a military wing of the struggle if Buhari type individuals continue their unprovoked killing of Ndigbo in Igboland calling it Python dance or whatever. But if we plan a military response through guerrilla means, we must dot thoroughly plan every inch of the struggle because we cannot afford to lose it. Right now, i still believe it is not necessary because Buhari simply wants to lure us in that direction too soon before we are ready by provocatively carrying out military operations in the zone even in peaceful periods. All Igbo needs for now is think how to develop their region without begging the Federal Government. The minute you achieve the mental emancipation of knowing projects that will change lives of our people and figure how to raise the funds and implement them without much government interference, then you have truly overcome. Ndigbo both in Nigeria and diaspora need to unite and begin to pool resources together for key projects. Our inability to mobilize & organize is hurting us badly. We still have Igbo stuck in the primitive ideology that they must be Chairman of every gathering. That is why the best way to mobilize is through town unions and kporakpo type organizations which are part of a greater umbrella Igbo organization. That way, the cravings of some people to be chairmen of their town unions or state kporakpo union will be achieved, while the national Igbo body still focus on its vision and mission of helping the Governments in the region prioritize and harness funding for key infrastructural projects. 5 Likes 1 Share |

who is an Igbo man, I've been to Abuja, Oyo state and Kano and Zamfara state. I realize so many things, if you haven't been to this places you won't know that you are referred to as an Igbo man. Note I'm not Igbo. I don't speak the language but I realized that I'm more likely to die as an Igbo man if there was any ethnic or religious clash in the north or in the West. The same way I recognise someone from the north no matter how he dresses as an Hausa man even though they are not all Hausa and also have their own culture and languages, is the same way they recognise me in the north. I've been to southern Cameroon too and I realize that they are more igbos and akwa ibom people than any other place. these people call themselves Nigerians but they have never been to nigeria, this makes me realize that these were the once we left behind during the migration. the same way it's hard to identify someone from Benin republic even though they speak Yoruba like people in Lagos and also the same way it's hard to differentiate someone from Niger republic when they come in to Nigeria during election voting season. what have I learnt from this, being an Igbo man, is just the way people perceive you, it's your lifestyle and most importantly it's the way you look (second and third paragraph). we are all the same people THE EASTERN REGION. the only problem we had was when southern Cameroon decided to join Cameroun during the 1961 referendum. we need to understand these things. finally look at the map below and ask yourselves why will someone create five state out of one region and call it south east when it's all south south. geography student know that Igbo land is in the south south and just like cross river and Benue is in the south east leading to Cameroun. look very well taraba is not north east but they call it north east taraba is more of the east and Benue is not in the north central but in the south east just look 1 Like

Cjrane2: I stated this as early as 2015 when I saw the need to move on without Nigeria's federal government allocation and the meagre IGR we generate. Igboland needs solid infrastructures and system that will catapult us to the next 50years within the next 10 years. Without doing these we will keep managing the situation and not gaining anything from this country. For igboland to develop, it is going to be all-hands-on-deck kind of development. Leaving the development for the government officials who think about the short term and not the long term will always make us go back to square one after every eight years. We need to create a body whose sole intention is to develop infrastructures and systems that will build the different sectors of the economy in Nigeria. Since the body wont be looking at the next election, they will be more focused in achieving their aims rather than gaining so much money from the system. Our minds are faster than our actions. We need to unify behind one party. Let igboland be synonymous to APGA and we the youths and younger generations, infiltrate their ranks and make our own the people leading us. Let us forget federal politics and focus on the local things we can achieve. 4 Likes 1 Share |
