What if man city had withdrawn their interest this season, he would have remained in a mid-table team he has no interest in playing for. Stuff like that can kill a player's morale and overall form. It affected Mahrez's performance for a while, at a point I thought he was deliberately playing below par because Liecester refused to release him. I hope Wilfred read through the contract very well and it's release clause before signing.
