seunmsg:You can believe what you wish. There is nothing more potent like an idea whose time has come. The Igbos are among the major stakeholders in this nation. Denying them the presidency after the north has had her turn, that I don't need to tell you, will be a recipe for tension and possible violence. I doubt that the northern establishment will want to sustain a Nigeria riddled with secessionist tension. Something will give. It is probable to assume that commonsense will prevail at a point. I pray we shall all be alive to see who gets proved right. Ekwueme was a VP ditto with Atiku and Sambo, lest we forget. 3 Likes |

Shukuakukobambi:You and substances... How many times will I tell you that Kanu is not an embodiment of Igbo political trajectory? I take it as a serious insult to the Igbos to suggest that Kanu decides where Igbos head to. Kanu merely latched on the legion grievous injustice to which the Igbos are victims to popularize his message. The moment things take their shape, time will sort Kanu out... BTW, Tinubu's betrayal will haunt Southern Nigeria for ages... 2 Likes 1 Share |

maestroferddi: You keep hiding under this idea. Where have you ever seen that one person embodies everything about a particular people? Was every igbo man on the same page with ojukwu before and during the war? Does that reduce the secession as an igbo project? Did Awolowo not have opponents in his quest for Yoruba development? Does that take anything away from the fact he was a Yoruba champion Do you want to deny the hundreds or even thousands of threads opened on this site telling us how Yoruba were slaves for helping buhari to power? Do you want to deny the hundreds of threads opened to show how much your people hate, dislike and disdain these gworo chewing kunu drinking fulani muslims from the almajiri north? When have you ever cautioned one of the many idiots who termed Nigeria a zoo? why are you shying away from admitting it? Is it because reality has set in and you now see the wisdom to come back to full participation in the zoo? Kill Tinubu if you like but what has that got to do with me or this thread biko? 2 Likes |

Re: Why Osinbajo Won't Become President Yet - BBC by maestroferddi: 11:38pm On Aug 21, 2018 |
Shukuakukobambi:I have nothing to prove. Millions of Igbos especially the elites and intelligentsia believe in the Nigerian project. Our position has always been that there should be a semblance of containment and addressing the issues that eventuated agitation and civil disobedience. Kanu and Ojukwu are like a hill and a hillock. The day the Igbos buy wholesale into Kanu's insurrection, we will be going into civil war mode. If someone calls Nigeria a zoo... Was that supposed to be such an insult? Aside the pretense which people like you treasure so much, is Nigeria working? Is it because the lgbos are involved? Fela sang about Nigeria leadership in pejorative terms. Is he not being hailed today for his foresight and courage. You guys should mend your ways... 2 Likes 1 Share |

maestroferddi: So you also believe in the Nigerian project? what do you have to say to the calls for boycott of 2019 and even subsequent elections in the SE? Do those millions of young men and women who swear by kanu's name also believe like you? I'm surprised that we'll hear chants of sai "whatever-northerner" wins PDP ticket in the SE for the 2019 elections after all the biafra or death threads we saw here necessitating Seun to put up a permanent thread against it. It's shocking that those same biafran youths will line up behind a gowro-chewing-kunu-drinking-head-slamming-fulani-muslim. Who will fight the civil war? you? Anyway, welcome back to Nigeria 1 Like |

statusquoante:Coming from people that can offer only 500k marginal votes. Anyway can a SW/NW ticket defeat a NW/SE ticket? 2023 you would understand that the North is loyal only to their Northern Agenda. Lemme see where you want to get the votes to make Osinbanjo, a Yoruba Christian President. We know that Northern Muslim votes are no-no for you in 2023 because PDP would be fielding a Northern Muslim. So you lots would depend on the SE, SS and MB to have a chance at the Presidency. You can't betray Jonathan in 2015 and expects the SS to vote for you and you can't support murderous Mayetti Allah and expect the MB to vote for you. You will need Ndi Igbo more than you have ever done in your life, don't forget they have the number to squeeze your entire regional votes into a marginal win of 500k. This is something Anambra votes alone can more than offset. Take it or leave it, a NW/SE ticket is indefeatible. That ticket can even defeat a NW/SW ticket. We shall see in 2019 and then 2023. Till then keep running your mouth. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Shukuakukobambi:Wish you can grow up... Kanu and the agitators have an undeniable nuisance value. Just like they say, this country is a zoo nay a jungle. People who deem themselves privileged behave like animals. No Igboman deceives himself that the Igbos will be accorded their rightful place in this confusion of a country without putting up some form of agitation. So Kanu has a useful purpose. If Nigerians feel uncomfortable with being castigated, then they should champion the cause for the elimination of injustices and imbalance in the country. People in this country tend to take others as fools. Some weak-minded fellows here are trying to dredge up the idea of power being transferred to the South West after the north when commonsense and equity demand that it should be the turn of the Igbos. Folks would want to sow the wind, but would moan at the concomitant whirlwind. How sad! 4 Likes |

OfficialAPCNig: If you have ever lived in Yoruba land, you won't be surprised by the delusional comments made by them on Nairaland. It is because Yoruba people don't face reality, that is why they think Osinbajo will take over after Buhari. They foolishly think that the SS, SE and Northern Christians will ever vote a Yoruba man when they themselves have not ruled. 2 Likes 1 Share |

maestroferddi: My brother, you have not lived with Yoruba people that is why you are angry at their stupid comments on Nairaland. Yoruba people have a big weakness which is being delusional in thinking. Yoruba people rarely face reality but prefer their view to be reality. That is how MKO said he can do without the Igbos and ended up losing the presidency when the Northern Military Personnel capitalize on his division of the South to arrest & kill him. 1 Like 1 Share |

It's your funeral my friend. we are in it together I just found it idiotic that even drug mules to South east asia are so hypocritical to join in the zoo chants. Who turned it into a zoo? when did it become a zoo? If You want the presidency, you'll say so and work for it. Though i just laugh when it dawns on me that so these same biafrans want to die on top the matter of zoogerian presidency. They are so delusional that they don't recognise that at the height of their sufferstikation, they only tabled a pitiable 500k marginal votes while Anambra alone gave over 600k and their contribution to Buhari's victory is an embarrasing 15%. How a sensible person can think along the above line in the combustible atmosphere that is Nigeria beats my imagination. The Igbos are looking for a reason to return to the trenches and then someone obliges them? Ordinary Nnamdi Kanu is making Nigeria shake, what will happen when the Igbos with clout buy fully into the movement? This is 2018 and not 1967 for those trying to push their luck... 3 Likes |

Most prefer to fool themselves without them evening knowing that they are fooling themselves. Shukuakukobambi:You can continue wallowing in hallucinations. The Igbos have always taken a front seat since the conception of Nigeria so you don't carry coal to Newcastle. Your problem and that of about every misguided Yoruba element is the futile attempt to set an agenda for the Igbos. You want us to conform to your worldview and it is completely unIgbotic to allow that to happen. We see ourselves as accomplished trailblazers. Our political success will largely be on our own terms and not kowtowing to the likes of Tinubu and Buhari. It is not as if we are begging for relevance. Relevance in the Nigerian equation is our inalienable right because nature conferred that to us. The earlier our traducers realise the foregoing the better for everyone. .. |

Shukuakukobambi:The argument here is an academic exercise. We are trying to disabuse the minds of deluded folks like you. The thrust of my argument is that irrespective of party, the northern establishment which plays a central role will unlikely prefer a candidate from South West after the north is through this time. Go through my submissions here and track my consistency. Nobody can state with mathematical exactness who will win next year as a lot of scenarios can still play out.
