Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by Spotlighte: 9:58pm On Aug 22, 2018 |
Enasdan: First off, aside the fact that these people can just see you and decide you are not eligible for a visa, you as a person has to understand how to make the answers your own. I feel your answer to the "why you chose your school" was generic and boring (probably the same thing 90% of the applicants have said to them). Try to own the answer, I mean, there are many better business schools than Husson, but why Husson? Make it your own answer, don't go with the flow. Don't always forget to state how important your MBA will benefit Nigeria or your place of work. Don't give generic answers here too. I hope the SOA you presented shows you have sufficient funding for your tuition and cost of attendance? Also, I hope the school isn't a one building university? Did you resign or have a study leave? I think you should refire. You might just get it now (I really hope you do). Don't forget to up your confidence level, okay? Success! 2 Likes |

BigFrancis,Lagosismyhome, walspring, nahum, ubah, freshstarz, and naughtyvirgin....Please I will be posting my final transcript for review in regards to my interview. I need ur opinions Vo: Hi,good morning, passport and I20 please Me: thank you(pass them) Vo:what is your intent? Me: Am going to st. Cloud state Uni for my undergraduate degree in computer engineer Vo: Why U.S? Me: Sir/Ma,the quality of tertiary education in the U.S is top notch. I also believe that the U.S is the best place to get the best education in science and technology. I need the best possible education for my undergraduate degree and after-study plans Vo: How did you hear about the school? Me: I saw the school on internet while using collegeCal and USnews to look up for good engineering schools with small faculty ratio and also affordable tuition rate. I came up with St. Cloud and 2 other schs after much evaluation. Vo: How many schs did u apply to? Me: 3 schs(st. Clouds state uni, bethany lutheran college, claflin uni). Vo: what is the relationship btw the schs? Me: Well, they all nice schools and has small faculty ratio that really enhances proper interaction btw students, and with their lecturer. Vo: So why St. Cloud? Me: apart from the fact that I got an out-of-state tuition waiver, the school has an active student organization that are branches of national and international organizations that provide professional engagement and social interaction opportunities. I also contacted Mrs. Ling Hou and Mr. Michael Glazos, they were able to help me out with all the infos I needed concerning my department. So I decided St. Cloud was the perfect place for me. Vo: Tell me about the course? Me: computer engr is a branch of engr that integrates several fields of comp science n electronic engr required to develop computer hardwares and softwares. It is a branch of engr that involves almost all our daily activities. Vo: why the course? Me: I have this plan of setting up an ICT private enterprise somewhere in Lagos or my state upon graduation. So with this course,I believe i will be equipped adequately with all the knowledge and skills required to set this dream firm here in nigeria upon graduation. The mandate of this firm is to work or maybe partner with bigger companies like mtn, glo,or even banks by providing softwares for them. In the long run,I intend to propose my idea of an ICT institution to my state commisioner....an institution that will nurture young n talented minds to get exposed to computer knowledge. By so doing,I will be giving back to my country. Vo: did you take any standardized test? Me: yes,the SAT(say score too) Vo: How many credit hrs and what are some if the courses u will have this semester? Me: 106,I need a gpa of 2.5 to graduate to every academic year. Maths,Electrical and comp engr, physics, etc. Vo: who is your sponsor? Me: my uncle Vo: why ur uncle? Me: as his favorite nephew,he has been partially taking care of my education for a long time. So when I told him about my plan to study abroad and my after-study plan,he was so excited about and promised to take care of the responsibility. Vo: when did u graduate from high sch? Me: 2014 Vo: (looks up)what have u been doing? Me: After graduation,I went into freelancing and blogging on sports but was not very successful because I lacked skills. I then decided to take a break and acquire the skills required first. So I enrolled in royals computer institute where I learnt more on comp skills. I came back into the business a lot more successful. I have been doing this till I decided that it was time to soar higher unto my next level. Please what would you decide if u were the V.O Be honest whether approval or denial. Thanks! 1 Like |

What spamming actually means is ur repititon of the same post frequently. Your case has been attended to, don't let ur spamming let other people's cases to be over looked due to numerous post of d same issue from u. Get the extension letter ur sch offers to send to u and tell the VO just the same thing u wrote on here when asked. KAMSITO: 1 Like |

drizlad:Hi. Welcome. This is the visa thread, there are a few things you need to do/know before you get here. Also, there are questions you need to ask and answer for yourself: What do you intend studying? Do you have preferences as regards schools; are there schools you've heard about or have been eyeing? US education is quite expensive, so do you have the means? If you don't, or you feel you might be needing scholarships, it's perfectly cool, but there are tests you'll have to write. And sorry o, a personal question from me, why the US? Answer these questions, and the house will help you progress. Cheers. 6 Likes |

I will like to have a knowledge on this, 1. do US embassy do carry background check on your place of work like they often do for SOA authentication, do they also verify for where you work based on the name and address of where you work you provided in your DS-160 online form, 2. a visa applicant going for an MBA, stating that he earn 85k per month, is that an issue. Thanks |

Flaame: Hey bro. You really tried with this but I would delay you if I was the VO. Please work on 'how did you hear about this school' and 'why this school'. It's too generic and I am sure they must have heard it hundreds of times that day. Come up with your own answers. Something they don't o hear often or they have never even heard before (let it be unique) and you will be granted. All the best. I await your testimony 1 Like |
