A little advice. For those coming into Canada especially Toronto axis, you may want to check for your accommodation before you finally get here, so you have an idea of the cost. I'm still searching for a space because the information i got wasn't correct in terms of the cost and how easy it is to get a place. So you may want to seriously consider checking up these things first and if you have someone here, they can help you view some spaces if you find one and make the bookings if they Landlord or the lease owner allows. Sites that can help you, www.kijiji.ca , www.places4students.com and all the facebook housing groups you see, especially the ones for your school or schools around. Now i'm being forced to check places far from my school by bus(at least 1hr) Nowhere is really far sha, if you plan to buy a car. 3MB traffic no dey here.(Average of 30mins) except you want to really travel. You don't want to get here few days to school or when school has resumed, and you don't have a house to stay. All the best! 7 Likes 1 Share |

Good evening every one. Has anyone here successfully applied for study permit along side TrV for children and visiting visa for spouse in one application? How will you then establish home ties if you do this? Is this advisable? The spouse has serious home ties here. First son running the family businesses, father is late and he has no intention working abroad either. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by jnyuwa02: 8:41pm On Aug 22, 2018 |
Emmyirab: Yes absolutely he has to apply for Canadian visa! He can apply as a transfer student and most of US college credits are honored in Canada, so he doesn’t need to start all over again unlike if he was schooling in Nigeria and seeking to transfer. Be mindful that your friend cannot transfer if he is a junior or a senior( third year or fourth year student). He must finish in the United States if he has gone over his sophomore year (second year). Since he has a student visa there in the United States, he can apply there without returning to Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |

Lagos2canna: Yes boss... Currently on a low-key hoping for a favourable result. Just need to divert my attention from unnecessary worries cos it's not worth it. I have seen the worse and prepared for the worst should it surface. The VO in charge of my case has been reviewing my eligibility and checking background since August 7th. Hope there is progress with your application. Thanks for checking. |

It baffles me too, all of the people that their profile status changed from eligibility review on Aug 7th didn't change back to processing, only the both of us and I am wondering why. Don't even know what to think anymore. Please let me know Aysem's response. Biakwa: |
