Ebonyi is quietly experiencing the fastest urbanization and development across the country, very commendable stuff, especially for a state that receives some of lowest federal allocations compared to the rest.

Tribalism apart, I have seen 3. I mean northerners and they are not politicians.

your level of thinking is very low. Yes I remember the yoruba man who came out online to demarket innoson motors because of a small fault in his car, of course it went viral and many people condemned him.
we are all witnesses to how yorubas daily curse aba made products as fake and substandard, calling anything fake as igbomade stuff. Igbo teaders are also highly patronized just because no other tribe are selling those stuff, not because the buyers love igbo people. Igbos are always targeted for wherw they come from, and all types of regulations aimed against them.

have you been to the ports and seen how hausa and yoruba customs people treat goods imported into Nigeria? They delay, extort, humiliate and seize any goods knowing the identity of the owners. Count that as love too? if there is anyway these people can substitute all those products, they will gladly refuse all igbo products, Fashola even deported ignos from Lagos, how many markets built by igbos has been completely demolished by LASG?

Only a non Igboman will say Igbos are not hated in every part of Nigeria. No, let an Igbo man lead his cattle to the north to sell, him and the cattle will be burnt to ashes, yet we allow northerners trample on our crops here?

Bros, igbo people are being marginalized politically but we should not downplay the fact that there are more level playing ground given to the igbos in some places in the country. Infact, many places in the north were ceded to the igbos just allow them have places to stay and do business. Paniso in kano is one of them, while we keep building our minds that we cant move because of northerners, they are not as strong as we place them. Just do your thing and stop thinking even the hausa beggars are the ones holding us too.

Do you believe business competition in Nigeria is fair? Waiting for your analysis.

Ibeto suppose to have the unfair advantage in the east because that is his home. If he cannot dominate the market of the east and relegate other cements into the background, then its not dangote nor Nigeria's fault but ibetos. He should be able to dominate the south south and southeast easily without any strong competition from any of these competitors.

What are your thoughts?

One of the few tourist waters in the east. We are not making good use of it. We should be building monuments here and not another block industry. I had a better design for this place.

I do not want to go further in this argument so that it will not seem that i am supporting these people more than my people. We are relaxing too much under the notion that we are being strangulated and not making good use of opportunities before us. Let us forget these places and focus on our homes and let it work for us. We have vast opportunities but we are not even doing anything to our own advantage. I am not just happy at all.

Even if you want to go tribal, buy only ibeto to grow ibeto; buy innoson to grow innoson. atleast if it enters the subconscious of every igbo man that ibeto cement is the best in the world, they will normally tend towards it. we are not working to rebrand the image of our products in the national market. So in essence, if we want to thrive in our space, let us make our products the priority. We cant lose in our turf too.

Some people here never want you to oppose their views. Imagine other Nigerians discover that Igbos have fully boycotted other cement brands just to patronize only Ibeto cement, they will also boycott Ibeto cement thereby reducing Ibeto's market to only the SE & SS. When it comes to entrepreneurship, tribalism is kept aside and each entrepreneur must be innovative enough to beat his/her competitors. When GTB and Innoson saga started, we immediately went tribal with it but the Innoson boss came out to openly say that the case has no tribal motive in order to save his market in Nigeria. Some even said that the Buhari's administration has never supported Innoson but wants to pull him down, they forgot that it was under Buhari that Innoson got his highest patronage from the federal government. Under Buhari, Innoson vehicles were supplied to the Nigerian Army and Navy, some other government agencies and the FRSC but tribalism did not let us see all these.

OGUTA LAKE

This is one of the most important water body in the whole of southeast. It is presently located in Imo state, Nigeria. The lake means so many things to so many people. For some it serves as mode of transportation to neighboring villages, while to some, it serves as a fishing ground. The state government has announced the construction of a resort that will serve as a tourist attraction in the state. The resort will not only be the most important resort in the region but it will be a driver of the economy in the state because it is meant to attract foreign nationals into the state.

We can applaud the state government for delving into this beautiful sector called tourism and making oguta lake the eye of imo state but we cannot help but cry out in absurdity that shoddiness of the job done in the resort. The resort when finished will at best be another 2-star hotel. The lack of architectural ingenuity in the project can be seen from afar. The lack of engineering dexterity is just everywhere. How can such a beautiful project be rendered in such an abysmal fashion? Are we trying to go back to the pre-colonial era or we are trying to catapult our economy forward. We can take a look at resorts around the country, Africa and the world in general. Resorts tend to generate billions of dollars for the government if its well Rochas see this project as if he is solving a major problem in the east by taking his time and making the resort worth it.

I think it's quite telling that 'one Nigeria' can't build Zik a befitting mausoleum decades after his death! Very pathetic!

I bet if Zik could come back to life and have another go, he'd do things differently! He'd realise Nigeria is just not worth it!

Do we have a comprehensive database of businesses in Igboland? This is the era of data, where business decision is influenced by business intelligence derived from accurate data analysis.
I guess its time, if none is existing, we should have sound data detailing investment opportunities and lists of existing businesses in Igboland.

Do you know how the FG stifled Ibeto's importation, claiming that he should prove his production capacity first before importing more products, but at the same time gave Dangote his competition tax waivers for importation?

Oga say the truth for once, the only administration that was ever fair to Ibeto is Umaru Musa Yaradua (of blessed memory)

But with his recent acquisition of Nigercem, he is going to bounce back

I've suggested some time back that we need a comprehensive yellow pages of all the businesses in Igboland. It should be categorised state by state, and have locations and possibly phone numbers and online addresses stated. This could also help state governments in their IGR drive.

Bros, it's like some people are not aware of the negative feelings some people and groups harbour towards Ndigbo, and the clandestine power the federal government has to stifle or destroy any business some bigots in government set their sights on!

Our greatest undoing as a people is our trusting and naive nature. You could see it exhibited far back in some of the actions/inactions of Zik, Ikemba, Nzeogwu, and more recently in the actions/inactions of Ohaneze, Igbo politicians and Igbo business men! When you point out the obvious inequalities in the Nigerian business and political environment, these gullible mofos will tell you just what our traducers love to hear: that all other ethnicities, regions, states businesses and individuals are suffering the same thing!
