Okay I did some quick digging and the strangest name on that list is actually named "Jamilu" not Jamiu according to Transfermarkt... He is a left back in Bundesliga 2.

He's played 180 mins of Bundesliga 2 football and 90 mins in the DFB Pokal (German FA Cup). With him in the team, they have recorded two wins (one in league and one in cup) and a loss (in the league).

Here is his profile...

no Echiejile.... Thank God

The Jamiu Collins and Semiu Ajayi na just to come answer present, so no problem there. Glad to see Aina back in the fray

Glad to see Onyekuru and Kalu as well, hopefully we'll see what they can do, particularly excited to see more of Onyekuru

Not glad to see Ighalo and I hope he is there to clean boots and clap for the other players on the pitch. I look forward to seeing him out of the team before the tournament proper. Same goes for the Hero and Small Stout Ambassador

No Shehu and Agbo, hmm. Seen enough?

No Simon Moses, why?

Overall decent list, we can have a starting XI thus:

Uzoho

Aina Balogun Ekong Idowu

Ndidi Iwobi Etebo/Ogu

Musa Iheanacho Onyekuru

Moses Simon's exclusion is justifiable, as much as he is returning from injury, he hasn't started a competitive game for Levante, only club friendlies.

"Clean boots and clap for other players", that's ultra acerbic, brother, remember yesterday.

Too many tier 2&3 players. I cant quite fathom the rationale for Nwakali's call up ahead of more established players such as Anyanwu Billing and Ebere Eze.

Rohr is gradually writing his sack letter

Good to see Onyekuru and Samuel Kalu on there. Time to start planning for life without Vic Moses.

No surprises with Ighalo making the squad. Not a fan but we simply do not have a better all round alternative. It's not like Nacho is in top form.

I wish Rohr invited Ebere Eze over Nwakali. Need to cap that kid before Scotland takes him. This is an opportunity for Nwakali to prove himself. He might be replacing one of Onazi/Joel Obi if Mikel comes back.

I'm a bit surprised both Onazi and Joel Obi got invited...would've only invited one of them as both are destroyers(J Obi is my pick of course). I guess Rohr thinks Onazi's leadership qualities is still important.

Thank God Salisu is not part of the coaching team for the game....would've been a disgrace if he was.

I tell you bro...the old man is gradually drifting towards the path of sanusi yusuf...who knows if he has not been corrupted already.

wanted us captied eze and also bring billing into the super eagles fold.

Ighalo making the list...already spoilt it.
well the team will beat Seychelles.
any good team will do just that.
but Ighalo shouldn't be there...Dude should have been left out on the filmsy reason to enable him concentrate on club football.

Nobody ever said Bazee would be called up for the match against Seychelles, all what was said, is that he is an option on the right wing, Danjuma too. Get ur facts right.

And uhmmm... Oga Chriskels, there are no tier 3 players on that list. You are exaggerating. We have only four tier 2 players.

Semi Ajayi is from English Championship... Below EPL. Obviously called up to increase our young defensive pool.

Jamilu Collins is from Bundesliga 2. And in the DFB Pokal, some shockers took place with Defending champions and Bundesliga side, Eintracht Frankfurt losing out to a Tier 4 side, SSV Ulm. This lad is obviously brought in as the first step in view of providing backup and growing competition for Idowu on the left. Hopefully with time we get to see Deji-Beyreuther play and also get an invite. This is the beginning of the "phasing out" of Elderson.

Kelechi Nwakali is from Ledman Liga Pro (Portuguese Second division) and with Porto B.. second team of one of Portugal's top elite sides. And obviously brought in to provide options and alternatives in central midfield/attacking midfield in the absence of Mikel Obi. Also Rohr have seen enough of his quality to warrant getting an even closer look at the lad.

Peter Karo Etebo is from the English Championship with Stoke. We obviously saw him at the mundial and he is proven quality for our midfield.

Also Ebere Eze you insist upon (who I also wanna see called up in time) is also Tier 2 (English Championship).

So, abeg coolu down and analyse the list well inugo? wink

One false comment. Nacho has only played one game in the EPL. He is bound to lead Leicester's attack this weekend based on his fine form coming into the season (and thanks to Vardy's absence). He scored four in Preseason. I wonder how he is not in top form. All these subtle digs at Nacho is becoming very childish. Analyse with truth abeg... Or you get this.

Isaac Success has come into his own, he should be there ahead of ineffective Ighalo.

Stewpid decision taken an Academy player over seasoned professionals.

About Joel and Onazi, I must say Rohr is drunk.

jamilu collins invite shows that truly rohr and his technical crew are seriously scouting for leftbacks who will make the position competitive for idowu and also worthy replacements for aging elderson. i must commend rohr and his crew for this. playing in the German 2nd division is not bad and also it doesn't mean the player will remain there forever.judging from where the player is coming from career wise, playing in the German 2nd tier now is a big leap which shows good promise that he is progressing in his career.

we all should remember that our defense stalwart now balogun was in the German 2nd tier when he was first called up by late stephen keshi of blessed memory.

You are not serious. Ighalo has played more games and is also in form. Nacho has played one full game and a sub appearance.
If Ighalo is been criticized for his WC performance while his club form is ignored, why shouldn't Nacho be as well? Or do you think Nacho had a better WC?
As an allround 9, Ighalo regardless of what you think is a better option than Nacho. Simple.

Just saw the list...
But I'm disappointed with the inclusions. Though it doesn't change anything.

I was hoping for 6new introductions. Rohr did well in making it 5. I don't have issue with the numbers and those dropped- it is understandable. My only concern is with the replacements.

What justifies the inclusion of players like KC Nwakali, a player from 2. Bundesliga etc...

Rohr seems to be enjoying his bromance with Ighalo, Joel, Akpeyi etc...

But wetin man go do.
