Thanks so much Marvellous Basco. Same thing I have been saying for ages. I said and analysed during those debates that Mbappe will develop along the line of a true physical monster. He is the ultimate teen athlete right now. Physically strong, super fast, and got skills to go with it all. It is no wonder his idol from age 14 or so till now is Cristiano Ronaldo.

For the Physical aspects, I rate Mbappe far ahead of Nacho. Their development won't be the same. Mbappe is developing into a physically imposing, super fast, super skillful Lethal forward... He is brawn and brains... But Nacho is taking the path of the more brains than brawn. His Vision, Finishing and ability to exploit space as a true raumdeuter make him another lethal weapon in development.

Two players, different paths but yes all-round, I will say Mbappe is better... but breaking it down to aspects of plays and individual qualities.. we all will see unbiasedly that both soar in certain attributes over the other with Mbappe having a little more over Nacho and Nacho having some over Mbappe.

Looks like a solid guy defensively. He enjoys overlapping and not overly speedy, could have problems against speedy wingers.

Who Is Paderborn Jamilu Collins ? The Lowdown On Super Eagles New Left Back- Nigerian With Croatian Passport


Jamilu Collins of German second division side Paderborn has been called up to the senior national team of Nigeria, so who is Jamilu Collins?



Early and personal life

He was born in Kaduna State Nigeria on the 5th of August 1994 and named Jamilu even though his father is from the Niger Delta area of Nigeria . The name was given to him by his mother, who hails from the northern part of Nigeria.


Club career:

Collins was spotted on the streets of Kaduna State by Football Academy Abuja, an affiliate of Croatian side HNK Rijeka and in 2013 moved to Croatia alongside other players of the Abuja based Academy.

In Croatia, he was loaned out by Rijeka to then third division side Pomorac to help him adjust to life in Europe, he still found games hard to come by ‎upon his return to Rijeka and he was subsequently loaned out to Slovenian side NK Krka.

Another loan spell at top division Croatian side HNK Sibenik was next on the card for him but injury saw him miss most of the season although that didn’t stop Rijeka from offering him a two year contract extension.

Despite signing an extension, the club decided to yet again send him on another loan spell, this time around he was sent back to HNK Sibenik‎ and after his loan spell his contract was terminated as the club lost patience in his development as a player.

Swift Rise

Collin got married to the mother of his kid and was granted Croatian citizenship and it helped him seal a move to then German third division side Paderborn ‎as none European Union players are not permitted to play in the third division in Germany.

At Paderborn he was a regular as they secure promotion to the second division as champions and after playing in their three games this season, he has been rewarded with a spot in the senior national team of Nigeria.


International Career.

Not many are aware of the fact that he represented Nigeria at the Toulon Youth Tournament in 2013 for the Nigerian U20 team under the guidance of coach John Obuh but he missed out on selection for the main U-20 World Youth tournament after playing in just one game during the preparatory tournament.


Style of play

A left full back but he originally started out as a winger and that has helped him develop into a left wing back like most modern day full backs are called.

He is very comfortable with the ball at his feet and can also whip in crosses with precision. His marking abilities which were the main draw back in his game has been polished in Germany alongside his tactical awareness and movements.

As clueless as he is, I doubt he knows where the problem of the team lies. I wonder what Nwakali is doing ahead of Ebere Eze and Anyanwu Billing.

Our SE players are too comfortable. It’s not helping them in SE colors. We need fierce competition in the National team at all times to promote excellence. If Joel Obi had been dropped before, trust me he will put in a better fight when he is given another chance. These crop of players are not far ahead of others putting in decent shifts in Europe. Hence, they shouldn’t be sitting tight regardless of how they perform in SE colors.

It’s gonna be hard for us to come up with a standard of measure if going by our arguments for so many pages is anything to go by. One man says we should rate players based on the league they play. Has Etebo suddenly become a poor player Warming the bench in the Championship? There are many factors to look into. Opportunity is the keyword. You never know who is better than who though there’re are indicators which are rather suggestive than conclusive.

Okay I did some quick digging and the strangest name on that list is actually named "Jamilu" not Jamiu according to Transfermarkt... He is a left back in Bundesliga 2.

He's played 180 mins of Bundesliga 2 football and 90 mins in the DFB Pokal (German FA Cup). With him in the team, they have recorded two wins (one in league and one in cup) and a loss (in the league).
