TheGoodJoe: I missed one of these Fela Durotoye's Town hall meetings by the whiskers. Quite unfortunate. I wanted to ask him if one man can change Nigeria. I want to find out from him if he was elected president, how he will perform and deliver when he will be working with the same governors, senators, council heads and local government chairmen because his party basically doesn't not have the structure to win majority of the states and local government elections in Nigeria. In my opinion, Sowore, Moghalu and Fela should unite and form a coalition. This coalition should go down to the grassroot and engage people just like Nnamdi Kalu did. They can work out a strategic 8years plan, within the said period, leaders will emerge organically from every state and local government in the country. The polity will be on fire so muc so that these criminals parading as leaders will go into exile for good in just 8years. It will take a lot of guts anyway from these actors. Anything less, will be like pissing in the wind. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Kog45:Moghalu made a gaffe with the Owerri women who were incarcerated, brought some disrepute to him. Anyway, neither of them will win. Buhari it is till 2023 |

goldfish80: Fela Durutoye just want to spark the brains of the people who can help transform this country. He knows winning the election is a big task, let alone transforming this country overnight. This is just the beginning of others marching out. One thing I believe is that if Durotoye becomes president, his cabinet will be made of innovative, compassionate and service driven leaders to transform the nation. Evil succeed when Good sits back. This is the beginning of the good fighting. I also believe in the Union of Fela Durutoye and Sowore. However, Fela Durutoye has his political ideologies which I do not think he will compromise to win an election. |

goldfish80: Rohr lost his confidence in his offensive play after the SA game. His midfielders found it difficult connecting with Nacho despite Nacho making good runs. Thus, Rohr switched tactics to a more long ball style and thus getting Ighalo who suited the long strategy. However, this led to the slump in our play and results. I will always up for offensive, pressing play and Nacho trumps Ighalo in making it work. |

TheGoodJoe: If Ighalo wasn't recalled, I don't think we would have qualified for the world cup. I know it is a strong statement but I have my reasons. Except as usual we want to be economic with the truth, but Ighalo was instrumental in the 4 points we got from Cameroun. Those 4 points proved to be crucial after the ducked points due to the Shehu Abdullahi debacle later on. Kelechi simply wasn't finding his feet. Many ex internationals, including the likes of Okocha called for a review of our strikers after the SA game. It wasn't just me. 2 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: The federal system of government as it is being practiced in Nigeria is very far from the masses. We have had Havard trained professors as ministers, yet Nigeria didn't change, so Fela wouldn't be reinventing the wheels with appointments. My point is those in charge at the grassroots, local government, constituencies and state will be pretty much the same people even if Fela won. If anyone wants to implement change in Nigeria, it must be done holistically from bottom up. 2 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: Talk talk talk is what una dey do, yet Nigeria in the last 24 years has made no progress in World cup, and as a nation none as well because we all know it came from UK..... Time to have new federations that will be patriotic and loyal to the image of their people... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDX93IX_95s |

goldfish80: To drive change, we need someone with a cabinet who can put policies in place to drive change. We can not wait and expect things to get well. We need to start from somewhere and with time, with better policies, we can get good governance at different level. But there must be a start. The Harvard and other ministers in the pawere setup by a leader put there to impoverish the people. So getting results from them was a far cry. The cabinet then was not set up to transform the country. |

TheGoodJoe:The manner we lost to South Africa gave a big indication that we couldn't have trumped Cameroun who were crowned African champions at the time,if changes weren't made. Those hard earned 4 points was vital to our qualification bearing in mind the ducked points suffered as a result of Shehu's gaffee. This is very easy to understand. 1 Like |

Mickael2: I have told you to always reason before you type but you keep walking in circles. let me make it clear....@ the onset I never dislike Ighalo invitation....even at a time made case with sir icon4 on the usefulness of the guy to the team...but a striker who keeps shying away from goal..you don't expect me to keep faith in him. when lastdid Ighalo scored for Nigeria? I am not a very patient person...so don't expecr me to stick with such a world cup flop. and for your correction..... you should be the leader of the hypocritical club. you've never praised nancho even should he score a brace, likewise onazi. you're so good in drawing up lame facts to back up your preconceived notions about these players. for Ighalo let him start scoring and delivering first because I buy into his praise....but until then. |

BascoVanVeli: save for the Cameroon match...Ighalo have not played well for the super eagles for a while now. those goals he missed @ the world cup...fetch him so much doubts about his abilities. but for some guys here to start drawing up lame reasons to call iwobi performance yesterday below average holds no substance. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe:You can see the problem I'm talking about almost immediately. Himself and his cabinet will be sending those policies to the parliament for approval. Does his party have the majority in the parliament to push through his agenda? The problem of Nigeria is too hydra headed for one man to effect any meaningful change. 1 Like |

Mickael2: Well, whatever the bolded means. I am for results. It takes me time to rate a player highly not to even talk of one that we all know for over ages has continued to produce poor goals returns for a CF. I do not have anything personal against Ighalo. What I am against is his barren run of form. I dont know what those of you that have been defending this mediocrity have in mind. 1 Like |

goldfish80: The problem is you so magnify the negative side of the team and diminish the positive side. Before that South Africa lose did we not beat Algeria? Why didn't you draw inspiration form the Algeria win but you would rather paint the ugly picture based on the negative result against South Africa. I know that to you Nigeria has the worst team under FIFA. I wouldn't be surprised if you come up to say that Tahiti is better than us. 3 Likes |

Icon4s:You're as good as your last game, as a trained coach you should know this. I wonder why you will want me to judge a team with the game they played almost 9 months prior to the Cameroun match and disregard the most recent result of the team. It's not as if the Algerian match in question was perfect on its own. You think you wish the team well, but clearly you don't. Since you're keen to always turn a blind eye to the teams weakness. If you were in charge of the Super Eagles, good heavens.... |
