How I'm Trading Fidelity Bank Stock
With NSE ASI at 50% Fib level on weekly, what I'm looking for are stocks that are around my sweet-spot, i.e stocks at 78.6% fib level or below and observe market reaction. One of the stocks that has been on my radar is Fidelity. It is now testing the sweet spot with the low for the past 2 weeks at 1.52.

The chart below, shows the pictorial trading plans. The blue shaded highlight is my entry region and below the red highlight shows my stop-loss. These are the areas I have control over. Initial profit target is set at the green highlight or the dotted black line. Price may or may not touch my profit target, but I keep looking at market sentiment & price action to know when to take profit if the trade is in my favour.

I deliberately post this trade to show my thinking process in a bear market. This trade is risky and should be taken as a short term.

PLAN YOUR TRADES AND TRADE YOUR PLANS
grin grin grin grin grin

When did it taste 1.52 ?

The truth is that the stock market is unpredictable, we are just trying our best. Nobody knows the exact date for the arrival of the bull (mini or massive), (FOMO might just drag everybody into the market before you open and close your eyes). But then, one thing that is very important is to monitor trends in the market so as not to miss out on any lurking opportunity.

I remember someone being warned here that he would be in the wait for his so called bonanza price, and watch all I the good deals pass him bye.
The market cannot be timed. Caution is key though.
Transcorp, Oando, and many stocks did well today.

My brother, there are some periods that quadruples your probability of making a failed trade; why would I trade in those periods?

Not all the time. I remember last year when they said things like "sell in may... " that May eventually turned out supper returns. These days, it appears to me that some investors move ahead of those times. They buy before the time we think is right to buy, and sell just before declaration or payment of results and dividend, when one would ordinarily buy.

You are correct in your own way though.

But consider those buying volumes. A good friend of mine in this forum sold almost 40m units of fidelity in January. Such individuals buy volumes and possess the patience of crocs when in a trade.

Now if prices drop to their loading points, do you think you would see such volumes to buy after they have all loaded their fill?

The answer to that question is NO
They’ll not get such volume and will be forced to bid high. (Change of entry price)

Anyway I’m still waiting for the bonanza grin who no like better thing ?
