As the PRESIDENT’s health is failing, so too, are the PR people he has on social media and on Nairaland. I didnt know building a railroad track from Ibadan to Lagos abi Lagos to Ibadan meant you were a man of great vision. After all, Thomas and Friends tracks can also be completed by school children about the same time as the FG, so I guess they are not too young to run. So Saraki and his criminal deputy were correct in passing that bill.

Anyway, those that say Nigerians are solidly behind PMB are still solidly behind one Chioma at the club hoping to get their grind on.....

Its either you are a blind typer or you are a blockhead if after reading that this is A PART of other rail projects currently being laid down too In order to link the 36 states as THAT IS THE VISION OF PMB.

If you could read that and still type this poo then you are brain dead

Sorry Oga, it looks like the real “blockhead” is only you. Buhari should even fire you for a very poor promotion of his “vision”, and probably lock you up for insulting him. So far the so-called facts are Buhari went to China in 2016, Osinbanjo flagged project in 2017, and laying of rocks abi tracks was 2018, with an estimated completion later this year or even 2019.....THEN work will “commence” on Kano-kaduna, then Ibadan-Kaduna, and then future lines blah blah bah....

Your words, unless of course, you didnt get the facts straight from the Oga at the top....

My question to you is do you think Trump really said Buhari is lifeless? Some people were mad when folks called him Jubril from Sudan....

Look at the stupid products of Nigeria's University and secondary school system.

Something good is being done or done..and they first look for wether to attribute it to PDP or APC.

Are you people even mad? Whoever does it, didn't do it with their father's money. Are they not all financed one way or the other by Nigeria for all Nigerians?

If you have an issue with anybody in authority, wait for the next election and vote them out.

I'm disgusted by all these GEJ and PMB who did this and that.

Funny enough some of them up there would claim to have BSC and MSC. But it's clear to see that they are all a sad exucuse and bad example for any educated and/or civilized individual.

Bunch of dummies.

THE LAGOS – IBADAN RAIL LINE

1/ The Federal Government of Nigeria is building a standard gauge rail line linking Lagos and Ibadan.

It is part of President Buharis vision to connect all 36 States in Nigeria by Rail.

2/ The 158km double-track line starts from the Apapa Port, Nigeria’s busiest, and ends in Ibadan, capital of Oyo State.

It has ten stations in total: Apapa Port, Lagos, Agege, Agbado, Kajola, Papalanto, Abeokuta, Olodo, Omi Adio and Ibadan.

3/ The project is part of the Lagos-Kano Rail Line that will form the Western Section of Nigerias National Standard Gauge Rail Network.

Negotiations for the funding of the project kicked off following President Buhari’s State Visit to China in 2016.

4/ The construction was flagged off by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in March 2017.
Track-laying commenced in 2018. An average of 2km of track are being laid per day.

5/ The scheduled completion date for the project is December 2018 / Q1 2019

The Train Service will run at speeds of between 120 and 150 km/hour.

6/ The Project is providing employment to thousands of Nigerians.

Upon completion, work will commence on the Kano-Kaduna leg of the Western Line.

7/ And then the Ibadan-Kaduna leg, to complete the Western Line.

Future Lines include the Eastern (Port Harcourt – Maiduguri), Central Line (Abuja-Warri) and Coastal Line (Lagos- Calabar).

How do you rebrand a broject that was never started? Jonathan was there longer than Buhari with no ambition but continous embezzlement. Short sighted boy like you will not see this.

So much infrastructual development going on under PMB that I wish they would all be ready at the same time but even at that, its steady progress with funding made available now

If we check our records now we will see this is another GEJ initiative ..Should we check?

Dont talk as if you were born yesterday. Rail line project is almost as old as Nigeria. So neither Jonathan nor buhari initiated rail line project. But I am giving honour to who deserves it. And in this case, buhari deserves my accolades for doing this project just within three years of drought. and definitely not the one who was procasinating for entire six years without doing anything even in such period of income boom. When we enquired about the money, it happens that it has been looted completely.

They claim its Jonathan's project when Jonathan NEVER FUNDED IT at any point in time.

All he did was award contracts with ZERO FUNDING .

PMB is now the one funding and they still say its Jonathan's project
after increasing Nigeria debt to 22trillion. Pmb is working indeed

This #LagosIbadanRail will change lives throughout the Southwest region of the country!!!

It's funny when they quote Apapa, Agege and then Lagos (are Apapa and Agege not also in Lagos?) Omi-Adio too and Ibadan? (Omi-Adio is after Apata in Ibadan too)

Meanwhile you might want to avail yourself of the opportunity to own a landed property few meters to Omi-Adio mega station of the #LagosIbadan rail line.
