Then I got admitted to a more reputable abc university ranking 34th in the U.S. Now xyz university is refusing to refund the money paid, stating that there terms and condition for refund is only if visa was refused tho xyz isn't aware of my admission to abc. Please can someone advice me on what to do? $1.5k no bi moi moi cash to forfeit just like that.

Recently wrote for the first time, scored 296 (not impressive), actually found several schools accepting the score but I intend to increase my chances for funding. Good day all, I'm at crossroads here. I picked my visa lst week and i booked ticket for tomoro. Now I have something very urgent to attend to back here, so i decided to defer and pay airline difference to postpone my flight. I realized that the deadline to defer for those who have fall admission i aug 1and i'm to pay $650 enrollment fee. Im not even bothered about the enrollment fee, its the deadline that is giving me headache. I got admission from another school for fall 2018 too, should I defer that one till jan? Would it give me issues at the POE, since the school on my visa is different.
Please i need your help, please please please, what can i do?

My visa just got issued after two weeks of AP but have not been told to pick up my passport.

My class started last week Monday and I must enter the class before the end of this week if I want to go for Fall 2018.

I'm just confused on what to do right now to avoid stories that touch at the point of entry.

It's better to write to your school and explain why you didn't come for fall 2018 and politely ask to be deferred for spring 2019 even if the deadline has passed. Going to USA with another school i20 will pose a problem for you at POE as that's not the school on your visa.

Yes, you can. There are people giving the GRE soon who have started applications already. It all depends on the school's/programme's application deadline.

The idea is to submit your application before the deadline.

good evening everyone, an F-1 visa applicant that earned 90k, he filled in 90k in his previous DS-160 form, he was denied visa five months ago, now he want to reply for Spring 2019, he salary he earnd has increased from 90k to 120k, he want to fill 120k as the amount he earn in his new DS-160 form, please will there be any complications or issues? when he goes for visa interview?

Note that ALL your GRE scores within the last 5 years will be reported to the schools that you send your scores to. You can't selectively pick a score to send. An improved GRE score though will show you as a serious candidate who has the ability to improve.

You can try to call your school while waiting at the same time. No harm in doing this since your case is really urgent.
