@ganzagangan @gurnam Excellent points from you both I do feel we should be careful however Colonel nzeogwu’s jealousy and miscalculation should not lead us to hate our own fellow Afrikan peoples. This was the beginning of Nigerian troubles by the way Post colonial Africa is built on Pan Africanism. Let us be mindful of this fact! |

Moorish:federal government recklessness and miscalculation should not lead some igbos to hate other tribes...you cannot blame Hausa's for Gowon action/inaction during civil war..you cannot blame Yoruba for awolowi action/action during civil war..why should you hate a child because of his father actions..if that is not pettiness and callous.. then what is it? 4 Likes |

Mr. Op you must understand that Igbos have made their choice which is Biafra or Biafra. They don't need an Igbo president rather a nation that will be for them in hard times, a nation where they can be free at last and that nation is not Nigeria but Biafra! We all know Biafra is heterogenous but Igbos are ready to out even without their brothers which shows that they have no confidence in Nigeria. Have you heard about xenophobics attack on Igbos in Ghana and South Africa yet their so called leaders have done nothing about and you don't expect Igbos to support a country that is against them? Conclusively Africans must know that their boundaries are european made and that a call for referendum is not a call for war, Biafrans have a right to self determination. They should not ask them to leave their lands, even after Biafra is restored they can still continue their businesses in foreign lands. Igbos have gone through hell only Biafra will compensate them, thanks.. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

frankfrancis871:I support a referendum for the south Eastern states It seems Biafra is the general and most popular aspiration of the collective Igbo race As sad as it will be to see you go I think this fits best Except something changes... |

Moorish: Sir/ Ma Peace is conditional. Peace is mutually accepted conviviality. Can the igbos make peace with the rest of us, have they genuinely tried to make peace ever? Presently are they making peace How do you live in peace with somebody that want your relationship with them in pieces. Please tell me, how? Since we are not in pieces yet, we cant have peace as they want, so there's no peace. I am a Nigerian and I love other peace loving Nigerians which includes igbos, the biafrans I have no love for as they have no love for me to love them for us. 2 Likes |

Moorish: Who has neglected you, and who has oppressed you? The Governors and other political office holders in the East, are they not Igbo's or where they imported from other region to rule over you? Recently, Okorocha was seeing constructing Statures for other African President with Imo tax payers money, no Igbo man condemn him or call him to order. In 2016 budgets, the allegations of budget padding came to the public's view and it was noticed that, the Northern Senators and Reps were the culprits. They introduced various projects to their Constituencies and communities while, your Igbo Senators and Reps couldn't introduce a single constituency project into the budget. They rather pocket the money. Other Governors are doing quality projects in their respective States, Governors in the East are doing fake and substandard projects, as seeing recently. Yet, no single Igbo man has called them to order. Untill Igbo's learn to hold their leaders accountable, you will continue to wail. 4 Likes

Moorish:why do you make it seem as Igbos are the only Biafrans, Igbos are Biafrans but not all Biafrans are Igbos. May I also remind that Igboland and Biafraland excedes 'south east' and that Igbos are only fore runners for Biafra restoration, hope you get me sir/ma? |

Nigeria failed since the days after Lord Lugard returned to Britain. It is now time for us Igbos to rally and demand our exit from this failed British colonial contraption called "Nigeria" |
Re: Igbo President (and Why Nigeria Needs It Desperately) by Moorish: 7:43am On Aug 29, 2018 |
frankfrancis871:I get your point I do care if the south south and parts of the middle belt fall under the Biafran banner Same way I do not wish to lose Igbo ingenuity in Nigeria However, Oil is our mainstay. It is in the south south. Hence Your aspirations for south south will be opposed by all for now However if that is the general consensus in those regions, south south especially, I will fully support total disintegration with adequate compensation to all the other federating units And an agreed timeline for disintegration And also terms of engagement post breakup However, the south south do not want Biafra 100% Are you also aware of that ? |
Re: Igbo President (and Why Nigeria Needs It Desperately) by frankfrancis871: 8:22am On Aug 29, 2018 |
Moorish:your question should be "who are the south-south?" south south was once part of the eastern region. Moreover we can deny the fact there are large number of Igbos outside 'south east', so stop avoiding that part. Like I asked before, do you know that Igboland excedes your so called 'south east' not to talk of Biafraland? |

Moorish: Do you think the Amaechi from Rivers State and Uchenna from Delta and Obinna from Akwa Ibom fringes and Ugo from Bonny and Opobo would leave their cousins and brothers whom they share a whole lot together to hug Muhammed from Sokoto or Idris from Ekiti ? Just asking 2 Likes |

Moorish: Here's where true diplomacy should employed. Diplomacy to be tact and pragmatic about your mission. Devoid of threats, malady, malignment and toxic vituperations. Biafrans are not seeking the needed support for their quest in as all their aspirations to Biafra niched from an established and recognised political contraption called Nigeria is not a parallel decision that can be taken by only the igbos. I bet nobody really wants to be tethered to a toxic partner forever. Igbos should play the Biafran card politically without tribal or religious bigotry. Also they should come to terms with the civil war episode as over for their own sake. God bless Nigeria. |

frankfrancis871: I have no issue with Igbo having Biafra, but I definitely have SERIOUS ISSUES with them STICKING around in my country to do business. The REASON they fought and got Biafra was because they HATE being in the same country with me, so what the heck will they be sticking around for?. And please don't tell me they want to do business 'cause I believe that they can do their business elsewhere. 8 Likes 1 Share |

frankfrancis871:Ok, I will and do support the igbo nation and the geographical region known as the "south south" in your quest for justice, independence and true nationhood However like I stated earlier we all should come to the round table as citizens, and agree on our terms for disintegration I believe If the biafrans are willing to negotiate a fair deal, both parties would sign I am generally tired of this false brother hood and the tension everywhere in Nigeria |

I must warn my Nigerian compatriots here When the annals of history are opened Long after our demise The igbo nation might be seen more honourable Why? gurnam:please shut up. Everyday the yorubas keep showing why they have been labelled the problem with nigeria by all. Just look at these people. Which tribe attacked nnamdi kanu the most? Which tribe was against anything biafra the most? Which id1ots opened threads here daily just to antagonise biafra and igbos? Which tribe kept going on about how biafra would not work? No yoruba person can do jack. You people are pathetic, two faced and untrustworthy. You people applauded the operation python dance. You want the igbos out of nigeria but when they demonstrate for biafra you label them terrorists. I know and you know it and the rest of nigeria knows that the only reason an igbo man cannot be elected president is the fear that the igbo president will divide nigeria sharp sharp and give igbos biafra. If you think the igbos don't really want to go then conduct a referendum. Go sidon jo. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Yorubas are very few in Igboland, There are more igbos living in Lagos than igbos living in Ebonyi There are more Ibos living in the SW than igbos living in Ebonyi and Enugu combined. gurnam:it's not your business where any nigerian chooses to reside in nigeria. After all it's one nigeria right? My issue with your earlier post that i replied to is that you said igbos don't really want to go. And i made it clear to you that yorubas who claim they want us out of nigeria are always the first ones to antagonise anything biafra or igbo. You can call us chestbeating all you like but the fact remains that igbos have always backed up our words with actions. 5 Likes 2 Shares |
