7 PLAYERS WHO COULD REPLACE VICTOR MOSES IN THE SUPER EAGLES
Posted By: soccerasson: August 28, 2018

Chelsea star Victor Moses announced his retirement from the Super Eagles recently leaving many football fans wondering just how much he would be missed and who if any player would be able to fill the gapping void left by the dazzling winger

We highlight not one but seven possible contenders who could aptly fit in the role

7) Isaac success
Success may have fallen out of reckoning for now but the player still remains an option.
On his day when and when he is in form the 22 year old Watford forward can be deadly
Capable of playing from the flanks though not an out and out winger Success is potent with an eye for goal direct pacy skillful n powerful.
It’s a plus he is back at Watford and getting cameos in games thus regaining his confidence

6) Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure
An electrifying 20 year old winger once described as the Nigerian Neymar and for good reason too
Shares attributes with the Brazilian super star in pace, exquisite skill, superb dribbling abilities and close ball control plus an uncanny knack for goals
Slowed a little now no thanks in part to injuries but made such an impact when he first joined Brugge scoring that clubs like Man U & Borrusia Dortmund took notice
Could still improve a little in his positional awareness
Has now also been played as a wingback by his coach and to good effect with makes him ideal to fill in for the Chelsea man

5) Sarenren Bazee
The 22 year German born forward was once regarded as one of the finest young talents in Germany
Can play on either flanks or in a role behind the main striker from which he easily notches up assists for his team
A fast and skillful player who can break down opposing defenses and make the difference for his team
His only bane has been his recurring Injury problems

4) Arnaut Groeneveld Danjuma
When a player is rendered to by the Dutch press as the Nigerian Robben you know you’re looking at a wing wizard.
What makes Danjuma a perfect fit is his ability to play either up front as an out n out winger or as a wingback like Moses was.
The 21 year old is blessed with amazing speed, vision and exquisite dribbling skills, a player that takes on and beats opponents with ease
Danjuma in any team will score goals (something he has shown he can do with ease) or create goals

3) Ademola Lookman
The 20 year old English youth International is a gem of a player
Out of all we’ve listed he is one that has actually been compared to Victor Moses albeit by the English press
Shares a lot with Moses, a natural winger spectacular on the ball, his dribbling and his direct movement a problem for defenders and an astute eye for goal
Contributed five goals and three assists in just 576 minutes of Bundesliga action last season
Only problem; He hasn’t committed to Nigeria yet

2) Samuel Kalu
21 year old Bordeaux no 10 Samuel Kalu has received official endorsement as the man most likely to fill Victor Moses shoes from non other than coach Gernot rohr.
Arguable the most natural winger of the lot and possibly the best at crossing the ball
Kalu currently if only slightly still lacks Moses drive and cutting edge.
While adept at both flanks he is even more at home in the right

1) Henry Onyekuru
A deadly forward.
Henry Onyekuru is the most lethal forward of the lot and what makes it more amazing is that he contributes these goals playing at times from the flanks
A proven goalscorer, Led the scoring charts in Belgium and has hit the ground running now in Turkey where he is on loan from Everton
The 21 year old is more of a centre forward but equally adept n deadly playing from the flanks especially on the left where moses thrived
A player whos playing style is actually quite similar to that of his more popular namesake Arsenal legend Henry, Onyekuru also glides past defenders from the left with his skill and pace
He is also blessed with phenomenal dribbling skills
1st choice on our list

The NPFL has just declared Lobi stars League champions after just 24 matches out of 38.

What a joke of a league. I finally give up on their matter.

What? This is a joke!

So much for Sir BascoVanVeli Professional Football League (SBPFL=NPFL).

This is very strange.

There is nothing person no go see for my country!

DrLikita12:

I agree with you. The world cup break was unnecessary. Other leagues didn't stop so why did we? For a player who was unlikely to feature anyway?
I'm not defending them just trying to understand. If they had planned better from the start we wouldn't be in this situation but they didn't. However I think they've made the best decision they could have made under the circumstances (Giwa, Dalung, etc). If they played a few more games it still wouldn't be up to 38 before the deadline. I think that's the reason for this decision. I hope they remain open to suggestions because fans will likely not favor this. It makes them look unserious I agree and it's discouraging for those who follow the league.
I hope they make the best of it. We might as well resume a new league in a few weeks since we've been three months out. There's talk about 24 teams next season playing in two different divisions like the NNL so I don't think anyone will be relegated.
I have also read that there was a vote and the margin was 16-4 in favor of ending the league right now.
If the bolded is true then that will be a positive step toward the right direction.

I have so much long for a day when our league will be structured similar to the MLS.
I have once stated this here. Having two conferences (North and South) will go along way in improving the quality of football we see week in week out. It will inturn cure all these "Home-Team-Win" syndrome ravaging the league for soo long...

I just hope the League Management will pull this through.

long strides.. incredible ball control. precise passing ability. ability to switch feet flawlessly. Good tackler and difficult to dispossess. He will be a great great addition. He is already in the bag. Let's start the paperwork.

Official: Tammy Abraham joins Aston Villa on loan for the season
A slightly disappointing sidestep, but a stable one.

One of the most highly-rated prospects in the Chelsea youth pipeline, Tammy Abraham, has dropped back down to the Championship for this third senior loan spell. He will spend the season aiding Aston Villa’s efforts to secure an elusive promotion back to the Premier League.

Although a move to Villa may have come with playing-time guarantees and a sizable loan fee, it’s a sideways step at best for Tammy. Two seasons ago, in his first senior loan, he scored 26 goals in all competitions for Bristol City and earned a loan to Swansea City last summer. Newcastle and Brighton were in for the striker as well but Paul Clement’s connection with Chelsea ultimately won out, seeing Abraham move to Wales. In retrospect, perhaps one of the former two clubs would have suited him better.

Swansea were an absolute travesty, whether under Clement or subsequently Carlos Carvalhal. Abraham ended his campaign with 7 goals scored, only three less than the club’s top scorer that season, Jordan Ayew. While he may have gained some invaluable experience along the way, the move was detrimental to his momentum and to some extent, credentials as a goal-scorer at the top level. Whether that actually damaged his prospects of securing another Premier League loan, though, we’ll never know, as Abraham seemed set to stay at Chelsea until at least January. However, as Maurizio Sarri could give no guarantees to the youngster, a loan was deemed the best solution.

It could be argued that Bordeaux, who showed late interest, would’ve been a better destination for Tammy. The Ligue 1 club, albeit currently manager-less, play in a league of better quality and will participate in the Europa League as well. Nevertheless, for various reasons, possibly including family-motivated ones, Abraham has ended up at Villa and we can only wish him the best for hopefully another goal-filled season in the Championship.

I think Joel Obi and Onazi need to watch their backs. Right now, in our midfield, I rate only Etebo and Ndidi highly. And of course Mikel the captain.
