How does this affect Diamond bank?

How it affects Diamond bank...MTN is 50% owned by diamond bank, all the profit MTN has made over the years accrued to diamond bank. That is how it would affect diamond bank.

Asking anyhow question.... undecided

Keep talking anyhow Sir.

He asked a question and a very matured answer could simply be "No, it doesn't affect Diamond in anyway because Diamond doesn't earn any income from MTN, etc", considering the possibility that he might not be learned as per any relationship between Diamond and MTN.

MSCI PORTFOLIO MOVEMENT- AS AT 4 SEPTEMBER 2018/GENERAL COMMENT

MSCI seems to be the one moving the market these days. The influence at the moment seems to have increased tremendously.

With the unstable nature of the market continuing, I am currently on the sideline until my previous losses reduced to a reasonable level (a case of not throwing good money after bad one).

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan).
N:B

Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who doubts the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.

If you are seeing this type of data on MSCI for the first time. You may need to verify the figures. Go to my previous posts, you will see the various sources where the data can be verified.

SEPLAT?? Overvalued??
You clearly don't know anything about this market. But then again, it could be because you only play penny stocks...

I hope you saw where I said "in my own eyes"? My parameters have nothing to do with FA which is obviously where you are speaking from.

In my own dictionary, any coy that cannot give me 15% dividend yield in this NSE is overvalued grin

Thank you jare! That lady thinks value is only determined by fundamentals. How reliable even are the authenticity of these figures on which these fundamentals are being judged?
Of what use to my permanent interest in the stock market is a stock which can't give me 20% in a whole 12 months? Have I come to the market to buy stocks and relish the euphoria created by the knowledge that they are fundamentally sound?

Thanks for this informative thread. Pls gurus in the house I need to know if anybody has any idea or information about what happened to people that had shares with intercontinental bank before ecobank took over.

We bought some shares between the year 2005-2008 from access bank(bought for #12.50/ unit as at that time), Zenith bank, and Intercontinental bank

Since the NSE was affected since 2008, we've been hoping for an improvement but it seems to be getting worst. I seriously need advice on what our next move should be. Thanks.

I and my husband have a combined shares of more than #500,000 bought between the year 2005-2008 from access bank(bought for #12.50/ unit as at that time), Zenith bank, and Intercontinental bank(my husband bought the highest shares from them, about #250,000).

Ecobank took over Oceanic bank, while Access bank took over intercontinental bank.

First, you need to visit the registers of Access bank, Ecobank and Zenith bank, to confirm the amount of shares you have with them and also complete your e-dividend mandates forms.

After that, go get a good Stock Broker .

Thanks. That's true, Access bank took over intercontinental bank. Does it mean that they automatically took over the previous shares bought by shareholders?

We have the numbers of shares bought indicated in our shares certificate and the e-dividend forms have been completed.
