Women on a street in Aba, Southeastern Nigeria. Photo by Lorenzo Dow Turner, 1951. Please if you are currently in Aba, let us see a very recent picture of your street. First pic is aba in 1951 and second pics is aba of today Pdp has killed that state, no two ways about it. Retaining Pdp in abia state come 2019.....will be another worst mistake by abians. Pdp must go. 4 Likes

This should be Ariaria, one of the dirtiest places in the world..... Having lived in Aba for 2years...its a common sight everywhere.... And the present Governor hails from that axis..he was former Dep.Director of the Abia State Environmental Protection Agency, and Aba was a mess...now its messier.... When I complain, they say its Ngwa turn everybody should go and die.......Ariaria was the place I swam inside soakaway because the rains covered everywhere at 'Ukwu-Mango'..that is under the senatorial zone of Sen.Abaribe(coincidentally was Senate Committee chair on Information,2011-2015),you dare not wear white to Aba during the rains... Infact, any car coming from Aba to Umuahia,we usually know from the car tyres....We,Igbos and especially Abians should think home more and leave the directionless Buhari because we have worse at home.....we have never been blessed with good governors... Never...from OUK to Sen. Orji to the present one, they only share money........ It's becoming worst...worster...worstest(if there is anything like that)... Aba is an eyesore....the Federal and state roads, none is in order....they are all the same.... God help us...... 39 Likes 1 Share |

Really sad! It's the same all over Nigeria! To us development means building up every square inch of space with ugly buildings, open gutters and no vegetation! 11 Likes 1 Share |

You are comparing two different location which is stupidity at worst. Secondly, population density brings with it, overcrowdedness and depending on the civility of the urban dwellers, the serenity or environmental degradation. Does government pour dirth on flowing water? When the government was destroying shanties blocking drainages, the Governor was condemned for lack of sympathy. Lastly, opportunity cost, resources are limited hence one road at a time. Ikeazu is doing his best and is not expected to continue owing civil servants who have families to fend for. 4 Likes 1 Share |

AfonjaSlayer:I will not argue with you,though..... He is not doing well....to my estimation,so I will not be in a hurry to endorse him until his opponents show lesser commitments. There is ways an excuse, We same the same thing under Ochendo's 1st term...he said it was OUK that prevented him from working, even though he touched some roads here and there... OUK told us he was fighting obj,had some success with enyimba and we went to sleep.... Abia needs better.... 7 Likes |
