he is fit and back to traning. i have seen him play few times and the guy sabi play ball. he is a modern day winger with with good passes and speed. he is also versatile ie can play as a ss,am,rw/lw
andrew444:

Okay let me agree with you

But you guys keep on talking about bazee,I am even sure most guys haven't watch him play

Why not allow him to be fit then we see what he is made of

We have others fit players who are not doing badly

Then act it! How will a grown man who saw the match come and say Kalu killed our attack?! Ehn?!

Kalu came to the party in the second half.

Things that needs to be done.

*We need a solid/new LB. Idowu is not what we are looking for.
*We need a no. 9... I don't know who it will be cos we can't continue to manage the ones we are parading as 9s they haven't scored from open play in 1 year...
*The need for an attacking/Creative Midfielder.
*Rohr is too conservative to take us forward. I don't know why he had to play Awaziem out of position again. When you invited a natural RB in Ajayi against a side like Seychelles. He kept Onyekuru on the bench even when Kalu was showing sign of been tired/injured.
If the Federation does not plan to get a new coach, I think it will be better to get a more vocal and sound coach as his Assistant to help him as the man is lacking in idea. I am sure Awaziem would have started ahead of Aina and Ebuehi if they were around. That's to tell you how conservative he is.

I think he is ahead of them as of now at least going by the fact that he has had a start and they haven't. I feel bad for Henry because it is getting clearer that Rohr just doesn't fancy him.
It's clear Rohr sees him as an alternative to Ahmed Musa.

So why didnt he drop any of these two to make a like for like repp with Kalu for Simon? After all, those two went to Russia for sight-seeing, abi dem do anything meaningful? Our game against Argentina and Croatia needed a Simon or Kalu to stretch their full backs, but no we couldn't do that because the blind bat left the personnel for that at home.

Rohr should be sacked biko

He is a good player but he has to improve if he must compete with Isaac and Bazee.

Isaac Success is not in contention with those right wingers. Success is a striker and should push Ighalo for a back up to Musa and Iheanacho. When Isaac played as a winger, it was left wing/LWF for Granada and his early days with Watford.

That right wing should be for Kalu, Bazee and Danjuma for now while the left wing goes to Onyekuru, Simon and possibly Ademola lookman. If I had my way, my three strikers would be Musa, Iheanacho and Success

Simmy and Ighalo no fit make my team.

My oppinion

This level of vitriolic and abusive rhetoric has no place on this forum.

You are taking the discourse into the gutter, ABSOLUTELY NO NEED.

It's very juvenile and a think you should apologise to BascoVanVeli. He responded to you with a bit of tongue and cheek mild banter. And your response is simply Disgusting.

Both of you have been on this thread probably longer than me. And you ChrisKels should really know better.

In a sane society, player like Semi Ajayi no go smell national team ahead of Uche Agbo. How it happened, na em I no know.

In Gent, Kalu takes set pieces if Simon is not playing but Simon played more games than Kalu.
The question is does Rohr see Uche Agbo as a CB or DM? Personally I think we should try him out as a CB.

Omeruo performance at WC showed that he is a player to rely on.

Let's see him in Spanish liga as league progress

Different opinions.

I think Ekong will stand a better chance of making the Chelsea team than Omeruo.

That is not even a discussion.

Ekong has improved tremendously since his youth days and in my opinion has surpassed Omeruo.

Look at the progression of both careers. Ekong has moved to better clubs every other season.

He went to Udinese and picked a starting shirt. Omeruo has not yet played a game for Leganes and failed to make the team a few times.

To the WC, Omeruo was outstanding against Iceland but also committed a dangerous error in that game. He was also caught on his blind side against Argentina for the Messi goal. Omeruo was not great in that match.

Ekong made 2 mistakes against Croatia but improved in subsequent games.

In my opinion, right now Ekong has surpassed Omeruo.

Omeruo undoing was staying too long in Chelsea and going to loans to Turkey. He should be the undisputed leader of the defence now.

I would disagree with that, when Omeruo played for Middlesbrough in the Championship, how many MOTM or any other awards did he get.

He has just been lucky with call up to the SE because his club career has just been ok not much more.

Henry showed confidence in the few minutes he spend on the pitch. Just like Ebuehi did.

With Rohr, we might not see the best eagles lineup.

well you rating omeruo is understandable cus you have already insinuated he is your man.

ekong won few man of the match awards when he returned on loan to gent where he played over 20 matches that season before he left for bursaspor. his form in bursaspor made gent regret letting him go so cheap and if he wasn't good as you labeled him a bench warmer during the tail end of the season how did he attract a decent club as udinese in a top league as the serie A?he moved to the italian club few weeks ago and have been a mainstay in the heart of their defense, can omeruo get game time in udinese?

When did he play 20 matches for Gent? I even doubt the man of the match claim self.

What a weak point

Kalu was among the top 5 last season and was the most valued. He was rated higher than everyone else in the whole of the Belgium league.

Since u must be among the tops in ur league to go to the world cup, Now, tell me, was Omeruo, Onazi, Shehu and Ekong among the top ten in Turkey grin was Ogu among the top 5 in Israel, was Balogun among the top 10 in Germany, was Simmy among the top 50 in Italy grin grin was Etebo among the top 100 in the laliga grin grin was idowu among the top 10 the Russian league grin grin

Musa Wague wasnt among the top 5 in the Belgian league last season but he was the over all best African right full back in the world cup. Dude u no get yarns abeg

in terms of national team achievements omeruo has an upper hand because he came into the fray 2 years before ekong stepped up. when omeruo was on loan in the dutch league with ado den haag, ekong was playing 2nd tier football in the colors of dordrecht who he gained promotion with the next season. but so far who have progressed more?

Cool down. Na national team football help Ekong progress. Person wey no fit break into Gent first team.

Chill, allow this season progresses and let see what Omeruo will do in the La Liga.

Afterall, La Liga na good league.
