I have followed Success for long, since his days at la Liga to EPL, that is the reason I can tell you he was used more as a winger than a striker. Even when he played as a striker em dey miss goals left right center. I think that was why he was drafted to the wings.

You can see his stats below.

I don't think Musa does better as a striker, rather better as a LW.

I also don't consider Iwobi as a winger but Rohr go still consider him as a RW.

If Rohr doesn't look Danjuma way then I know he is enemy of progress. The boy wey don score three goals with 2 assists this season na em Rohr wan overlook. Make em no try am ooooo.

Lookman and Ojo are ready to play for us. Na Rohr dey dull.

If we have all these players available, dey competition no go small oo. grin

As much as I love the Danjuma kid, I must say he hasn't done what no Nigerian hasn't done in the jupiler league and still got over looked so I aint gonna be surprised if Rohr messes up his chances with us. After all, Olayinka, Kalu and Dennis Bonaventure did better in their first 3wks for their respective Belgian sides, yet the hyper conservative coach didnt notice them. Imoh was a monster and Keshi bleeped his chances too

Onyekuru is better than the both.
I did not get to finish watching the game. Finished watching it now, Oyek is on another level loll. Fantastic player.
Musa, Oyek and S. Kalu ought to be leading our attack.

That pitch was bad my brother. Didn't u observe the bounce and roll of the balls? One can easily dislocate his ankle in an attempt to try a sliding tackle. You saw the kind of bruise Kalu got in the first minute of the game.

Remember also the away factor.

It wasn't bad at all. There was not one pass you can say would have made it if not for the field. They should have done much better no excuses.

most people called for my head and thought those who hold the notion that we are heading no where with the man at the helms are ungrateful.

With Rohr, We may qualify for next year AFCON and go on to win it. But I don't see him assemble a team that can match the best in the world. I saw Kenya play Ghana today and I was like are these the same teams we might likely face in Cameroon next year? Then we haven't even started preparation.

I just pray we qualify.

Lybia are not taking it too lightly. SA too won't want to miss out.
Dude has to be more flexible. I appreciate his man management skills no doubt, but his conservative nature is soo annoying.

I don't know where people got that information that Isaac Success is a striker. Far from it.

In the last matches, he played in the La Liga this season, he played Isaac Success played as a RW. See the date below.

Rohr also played as a RW when he played for SE though he can play on the left too.

Isaac Success dey miss goals ooo.

Danjuma is not a RW. He is a LW.

RW; Kalu, Bazee, Isaac, Iwobi and Sheyi Ojo.

LW; Ahmed, Simon, Onyekuru, Danjuma and Lookman.

For the striker position, I will wait till the middle of the season.
Think people are basing it on his U17 and early Granada days.
The guy is an exciting player no doubt, but anyone expecting a clinical finisher is in for a surprise. He's not Nacho level type finisher.

Omeruo already told us at last WC that he still has a lot to offer

Surprisedly some want Omeruo out and Semi in.

I can say it anywhere that Omeruo is better than Ekong.
Omeruo lacks pace.

Simmy and Ighalo were just as useless as the 3 defensive midfielders we took to Russia to warm the bench. A wise coach wouldn't pick Onazi, Joel, Ndidi, Etebo even Mikel(all defensive midfielders) to a tourney ahead of someone who provides an attacking out let. Why didnt he replace Simmy with Kalu as a like for like, for injured Simon or better yet, drop one of the ineffective duo of Onazi and Joel?
Onyekuru is far far better than the Kalu I watched today.

We will miss V.Moses with Kalu not with Onyekuru .

I thought Balogun lacks pace too and Ekong misplaces passes.

Rohr first choice as CB is Balogun /Ekong but if I have my way i will go for Balogun/Omeruo.

My opinion.

On that yeye pitch?
Haba Chief we won away match 3 nil and we are still complaining about pitch even berating their performance.

Comoros held Cameroon though they have some players in French league but Comoros is still Comoros.

Chief wetin we want from these boys again. Oh guys want 10 nil abi.

Honestly we are too arrogant when it comes to football

Naso we rate this team before WC.

My major problem is Rohr.

Egbon, I am not among those berating the team for beating Seychelles by "only 3:0". I was only saying that the team could have played better on a better pitch.

Some wanted him to start all of Onyekuru, Kalu, Nwakili and Jamilu at the same time. And Rohr's failure to do this in their own mind "Rohr is too conservative".

We all know Onyekuru is competing with Musa for a place.
Rohr was never going to start both Musa and Onyekuru as wingers

Without contradiction l agree, add to that Bobby Adekanya ( U20) however, considering we have far from outstanding B players in the SE then Bobby is within his rights to expect a call for the SE.

What I learned from yesterday's match is we have a lot of work to do.

Team lacked cohesion bad pitch is not an excuse, this is a team that we should be finishing off. We did not.

Against a better team we would have been severely punished.

The population of Seychelles is less than Ughelli town not local government. I would expect our U20 to beat them. They had a goal keeper with a beer belly. Nobody was outstanding in our team although I liked Musa's goal.

Rohr is not innovative and lacks strategic vision for the team, he is structured but not innovative. A preference for safety and conservatism.

I don't see us hitting high notes with him he is unable to engineer passionate enthusiasm and belief in the team essentially that WINNING MENTALITY.

Yeah playing Musa as a 9 wouldn't be a bad idea provided we have both Mikel and Iwobi in the starting 11.

Success played as a striker in his last competitive game though. Musa was more influential as a CF when he was at CSKA Moscow.

Modified
Danjuma, Ojo, and Lookman — Taken note

Musa was good as a CF in a 2...not as a lone striker. He can do a job

Yes different opinions.

Ekong making Chelsea?

Oh you forget the same guy failed to make age grade Tottenham.

He failed to make it in Belgium.

Also at tail end of Turkish liga he lost his place.

Good for him at Udinese and am happy seeing him week in week out.

But my man Omeruo is better

Russia WC showed the difference between Omeruo and Ekong.

He failed to make it in belgium ? which is a better league from belgium and turkey?

He is a bench warmer in turkey? Try and get your fact right

Ekong was on bench for 90 minutes for 2 bursaspor games then the following game he was subbed in,then he started the following game,so how is he a bench warmer? is that how you judge a bench warmer? even if you hate a player please speak the truth.

Even if ekong didnt make it at tottenham doesnt mean he is a bad player,so many player didnt make it at the first team but they ended up at big club.

Now ekong is in udinese and in the starting 11 always.

Pray omeruo makes leganes team, omeruo that all turkey club has refused to buy.

Stop disgracing your self by saying ekong is a bench warmer at turkey, try and get the meaning of bench warmer, someone was on the bench for 3 games makes him a bench warmer?

Chief i am dissapointed in how you judge football,i taught you know more things.

Someone started 26 turkey league games in the 30 he was available for and someone is calling him a bench warmer.

You cant hide your hate

Nah! I don't agree with the bolded.

While Omuero seemed to have peaked, Ekong is someone who has shown constant and steady growth.

His fitness level is something else, this is someone who played all minutes for the U-23 team at the last Olympics, played every minute of our qualifying campaign, every minute of the friendly games we played before the WC. And all possible minutes in the WC games as well.

Had Omuero built upon his performance at the 2013 AFCON triumph, he'd have definitely been the assistant captain to Mikel, not Musa.

Now, we've got Ekong as a potential captain of the team , if he continues to improve.

Yea Ekong has leadership qualities

On Ekong not making it at Tottenham, don't forget he was same set as Harry Kane who was almost sent out of the team after series of poor showing.

Apart from Kane and Winks, who out of the Tottenham youth set-up has made it to the first team and on consistent basis?

The time to phase out Ighalo will come. For now, we have to make do with him like that.
Good thing is we have young up and coming creative players like Ebere Eze, etc. We add more creativity to the team and a physical striker would be our plan B instead.
