I really pity one man here who should have learnt from what just happened to him, that's not good
to rejoice in another man's pains or blame him so much for his mistakes. Why should a man keep
spending his days after days talking arrogantly, and has ended chasing out those that used to discuss
good stocks with sound numbers that one should possibly buy at the right time.

I wonder how the market will be to him if there was no buying and selling at all for one month.

Oga, you just did what the guy is preaching against.

Bros, you no dey forgive?

Sir/Ma, while I understand your angle, I think it's just better to take some comments lightly and also find a way to pick important points from it. Money woman mentioned not listening to market noise; if you are sure of the strategy you are using, I think there should not be any cause for alarm.
However, I observed that you are overly optimistic, which to me still falls within the 'too much of everything' you mentioned. Understand that some people rely on info here sometimes and may be misguided by those comments of yours too, thereby losing money should the stock you hyped shed price instead, especially this bearish period.
I see no harm in warning people about buying at higher prices cos any investor's aim is to make profit.
Just my humble opinion sha.
Some people invest so that they wouldn't spend the money, not just for trading sake. To such folks telling them to bank the money may not work, all you should do is let them know some good stocks to buy. Who and who do you think are buying all these days

It pains that our daily filled pages here are no longer educating.

It may be harsh but I need to state the obvious. I think there is a thin line between advise and mocking people. Some bought stocks at higher prices, others bought recently and some other's would buy lower. But in all I think one thing I have seen over the weeks is the silent mockery at others that bought at presumed higher prices.

Funny thing is that is not a Nairaland thing, Its a Nigerian mentality. Under the guise of my neighbor's keeper, you rejoice in their grief. People invested their hard earned money to invest in some of this stocks, the best you can do is wait and time the market so you can buy at a lower price which is good for you. But coming on the forum and quoting too many unimaginable prices would drive away people from here.

Too much of everything is bad. Stock market Nigeria days, bear period is usually time to analyse numbers and argue based on results, not what I see here today.
A lot of emotional dudes here . Bros u think NSE is a communist venture where a whistle blower will announce when to buy and when to sell so that everyone can make profit at the same time.
Oga, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. For every profit made from NSE a local or foreign investor don lose money.
Everybody here is a hunter, the difference is our temperament. Some are very patient like the crocodile e.g wanajo and pa Emma , some play the short game and then the any where belle face speculators.
If u can't stand the heat, u better leave the kitchen.
Stop the lamentation, improve on your strategy even tritritri that was hot tempered don get the drift.

Oga, you care for some late night happy hour tomorrow at 7:30pm?

What is said here does not stop the market from going up or down, just do your thing. If you are trapped, you only lose when you sell. All of us are gamblers na, even Warren Buffet.

Next time, don't just have price range and then start loading once price gets there, check the mood of the market. There is still 4 months before elections, the activities of foreigners have materially reduced, your dummy PFA PMs are sitting and watching until the market charges up strongly before they start buying...

Please where is Pa Emma?

Ha, Chairman of Diamond Bank and the Chief Risk Officer of Diamond and FBNH. You no know say you draw my attention to FBN back then and I bought because of the potential write backs. It is for the same reason that I have FBN on my list of buys.

Oga Veecovee, Please in the name of God, whom we serve, I beg you to apologize openly and secretly to that man or woman you are referring to.
We do not use whatever misfortune that happened to anybody to judge him or her.I mention someone name that he is shouting bear bear..... does not mean that there is no truth in what he is saying, and should not give us room to retrieve peoples healing that's very bad before God and humanity. Please we should be matured and reasonable in things we say.

There is time and season to everything under the earth, there is time of bear and time of bull, time of red and time of green!
No condition is ever permanent, please your sincere apology to who ever you are referring to.

One Love.

Good morning all.
Just out of curiosity, what happened to all those people who started this forum in 2012. I observed I can't even find one of them here anymore. Hope, it isn't what I am thinking because with the way you people keep joking about NSE chasing some people back to the village, maybe, it is time I focus on developing that my village cottage.
