Moses was never fully committed to the national team right from the start... everybody knows that... Whatever was causing him discomfort in the team is not really our business. his commitment is what matters. We hear stories of players having issue with their country FA all the time.. Somebody like Salah is currently at war with the Egyptian FA but he is still available for the team.
Moses never implied in his post that some people forced him to retire from the national team . it was his decision...

They are called Igbanke. They bear Igbo names and speak an Igbo dialect. Their kinsmen are Agbor people across the border in Delta state.

Echiejile grew up in Benin and his environmental influences are primarily Benin, Edo then add to that that's he also from Edo state. Makes him doubly Edo.

For instance AY popular comedian may indeed be Yoruba by ethnic origin. But his entire growing environmental influences are birthed from being brought up in Warri. He describes himself as a "Warri boy" first before anything else.

I would disagree with you.

Igbanke is much closer to the Esan tribe than the Ibo in my travels in that area. The language they speak is much closer to Esan than Ibo.

Igbanke is much closer to the Esan tribe than the Ibo in my travels in that area. The language they speak is much closer to Esan than Ibo.

Bros no need to talk too much, nothing Esan about Igbanke, they are related to the Agbor people of Delta. So they are Igbos. Igbanke people bear Igbo names. My family is in Edo i know what i am saying.

Firstly, on the issue of ignorance of ethnicities in Nigeria. You will be amazed that even people that call themselves professors are also guilty of this. There are people who have hardly left their region yet have read about the different ethnic nationalities in Nigeria. But there are still some that have not gone out and yet have chosen not to read.

I know how difficult it was back then in my school days convincing some people that Urhobo, Ijaw, Ibibio, Efik, Bini and co are not Igbos.

I know the serious quarrel I had with some one back then when he told me Lawrence Aneni is "Ibo". I told him to his face that he is an illiterate. Something that didn't go down well with him.

Then on the issue of Anioma, Ika, Ikwerre not being Igbo. I just want to tell u in summary that they are Igbos. If I go deep down into this discussion I will derail this thread.

Make una carry this yeye talk comot from here. Somebody said Ikwerre no be igbo where as their culture, tradition, food, dressing, language, names are Igbo. Tomorrow now we go here say those Ezza(umuezeoka, umuikwo et al) that were politically seeded to Benue no igbo again. Or may be tomorrow we go here say Egbema people that were cut off from Imo to Rivers State no be Igbo again. He even went as far as trynna call Anioma a non-Igbo clan? Ur ignorance no be here.
