Bros no need to talk too much, nothing Esan about Igbanke, they are related to the Agbor people of Delta. So they are Igbos.

http://naijasky.com/orhionwon/303/history-of-igbanke-in-orhionmwon-local-government/3256/

The owner of This Day publications Nduka Obiagbona is from Agbor. They speak Ika the language is also mixed with some Bini words and it's not just dialect difference it's far greater disparity between the two languages.
An Ika man does NOT consider himself IGBO in any way AT ALL, by the way I have spoken to a lot of prominent Agbor citizens including Obiagbona and not one of them consider themselves Igbo.

Even those from Ibusa, Ogwash and further up the road and closer to Onitsha do not consider themselves as IGBO.

So maybe you have limited experience of the Nigerian ethnic tribal demographics disparities and origins. You should do more research first hand and academic.

What language is the name "Nduka"?

Secondly is Bukola Saraki a Yoruba man or not?

Firstly, on the issue of ignorance of ethnicities in Nigeria. You will be amazed that even people that call themselves professors are also guilty of this. There are people who have hardly left their region yet have read about the different ethnic nationalities in Nigeria. But there are still some that have not gone out and yet have chosen not to read.

I know how difficult it was back then in my school days convincing some people that Urhobo, Ijaw, Ibibio, Efik, Bini and co are not Igbos.

I know the serious quarrel I had with some one back then when he told me Lawrence Aneni is "Ibo". I told him to his face that he is an illiterate. Something that didn't go down well with him.

Then on the issue of Anioma, Ika, Ikwerre not being Igbo. I just want to tell u in summary that they are Igbos. If I go deep down into this discussion I will derail this thread.

Dude has a half baked knowledge and he was so quick to call someone else ignorant.

Name is not the overwhelming consideration for Tribal definition.

Across Agbor and people have names such as Idehen a clear Bini name. It doesn't make them Bini.

In Uhrobo land Okpara Okoro are popular names it doesn't make them Igbo.

A village has the name okpara Okoro and u never cared to know how the name came about since u claim to be smart.

It only means okpara Okoro was the first settler in that land and those people living there today are his offsprings and in proper igbo tradition, they cant inter marry

Now, tell me the overwhelming consideration of tribal definition, I wan learn more

Lol Ekong is tipping his captain, John Obi Mikel to join him in the Italian Serie A. Trust me, attitude defines a person more than character. That Mikel is the most respected in the Eagles today by his team mates, is because of his attitude towards the team. Same cant be said of vicMoses who is indifferent about the team despite his status and age.

Iwobi will the next class act because his attitude is top notch. He has that burning desire

I know this is a faceless forum.

Unless you know Moses personally and he expressed his lack of commitment you can not make that prejudiced unsubstantiated statement about him in bold. The idea that everybody knows, is either a reflection of you lack of life experience or you simply just not very wise. Because I certainly DON'T KNOW.

Then you go on to say, "Whatever was causing him discomfort - - - is none of our business". Consider what you are saying , does that make any sense to you. That's a very callous and uncaring thing to say. We are concerned that's why this matter is being discussed.

It is a VERY BIG DEAL without doubt he has been a star performer for the SE over many years.

Then out of the blue he resigns at such a very young age. And the response to many is good riddance that's simply very poor.

We should all be concerned, It tells us that all is not well in the SE. Which is not necessarily breaking news, the NFF has never been far from controversy of one issue or the other.

You are the one making up the story and theories..
All the time Moses was with the national team, the only issue he was having was his lack of commitment. If there was an feud anywhere, the media would report it.. Moses himself would have come out clear..

Mikel has been having issue with the NFF and past SE coaches, he didn't retire
Enyeama had issues with Oliseh,he spoke his mind and retired
IK Uche,Yobo and Osaze had issues with the late Keshi...

My point is whatever issue Moses had with the NFF is not really our business cus he isn't the first...Its a normal thing...
But however,Moses never at any point said anything about a feud with the NFF...so we will just assume there's none...

Let Moses enjoy his retirement in peace...we can do well without him

Hahaha I remember that call card.

Sometimes you don’t necessarily have to travel to know. People shouldn’t be lazy about finding out about these things. Nigeria’s unity depends on we all getting to understand our different tribes and appreciating the uniqueness in our diversity. If you asked me I would say they should be a subject dedicated to this issue made compulsory in Nigerian schools.

I pick up on NOTHING.

My view is simple, it doesn't make rational sense for Moses to resign from the SE. Whatever his reasons are his statements don't add up.

He is clearly discontent but why Nobody really knows.

I was born in the UK came to Nigeria for the first time when I was 11 then left after high school to University in the UK.

I do not believe in Juju just like I don't believe in Satan that does not mean I don't know about his existence and the same thing goes for Juju.

Moses was born in Benin and left as a teenager aware and conversant with practices around him good and bad.

The said reason from ANS is not substantial. Vicmo made it clear expressing his desire to concentrate on club football. No second guessing from media outlets

I still remember one guy called Idris in the defunct kick off Nigeria... he claimed he was in US with the super eagles...only to make fool of himself when one of the forumites who happens to be living in USA made all efforts to see him but he kept on dogding.
dude was never in the USA probably in one of those ghettos in nigeria where he had access to a mobile phone to claim a fake life.

We used to have social studies. But I understand it has been scrapped and merged with something else to form a New subject.

Knowing about people and places comes majorly from interest. You don't have to travel to a particular region and live with them to know about their way of life.

As I said before, personal interest to know about what goes on outside your environment is key here.
