Youth football funny sha, while the then more illustrious Osimhen, KC Nwakali, even Chukwueze are still struggling to come up, orji okonkwo is already a starter for bologna In another news, Ekong starts again but Aina makes the bench as Udinese take on Torino. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Icon4s: I thought I was the only one who got educated by that banter. I was forced to read more about ghana, the culture, tribes, economy and names. I was once guilty of that name mixture when I was caught, I hurriedly logged out, got materials and read everything about their ethnic groups, names and of course crimes as a my war tools Lol just recently I read a post on zambianfootball.co.zm where one Zambian was disguising as a Nigerian saying our football is crap that the copper bullets are now better than our Eagles and that Achor and Iwobi are amateurs compared to Sinkala and Kalaba with the moniker "Okocha Adeboye" lol I couldn't control my laughter because the trick reminded me of my ghanasoccernet.com days 1 Like 1 Share |

ChrisKels: Ah bros.... The kickoff time for that Nigeria vs Bosnia game was 11pm Nig time. Odemwingie scored close to half time na so I shout so tay my wife ran into the sitting room that I was disturbing the neighborhood that it was midnight! I told her say which neighborhood? wey everybody too dey shout for their houses? My brother, to tell you the fact I stood up for 90mins to watch that match. Recall we drew against Iran and we knew we will not beat Argentina. If we failed to beat Bosnia our winless run at the WC Would have extended extend to 20years how will I face those Charlies who were waiting for us online both on nairaland by then and kickoff to insult Nigeria. Like 5mins to the end of that game Enyeama made one save that it was as if Nigeria scored. By then the Bosnians were all over our defense. By that time I had gone down on my knees praying and shouting to God to save us. Again my wife came out, this time she had to shut all the windows to prevent neighbors from hearing my voice. No be small thing o. I celebrated that win more than I did when we won the AFCON in 2013. I was to make a journey early the next morning and planed on bashing those foul mouthed Ghanaians on nairaland and do same on Kickoff along the way as I travel. Lo and behold, by Day break nairaland had crashed! For 1 week we were without nairaland and many thread had varnished. I was like why now? 4 Likes |
