As long as you are on the bench, there is a greater chance that you may never play. Now, this all depends on your ambition as a person. Some people are contented with seating on the bench just as long as they receive a call up, some other people have a little more ambition and are not contented with just being a name on the team sheet.

It really all depends on what level you grade yourself as a player, but like I said, there is such a thing as being too good for a role. Maybe so many African players would have made a name for themselves if they did not find solace in dusting the bench

Afelokhai can be a backup to uzoho because he his the first choice at enyimba and better than bench warmer ezenwa at enyimba

I know the potential of these two players. They may be out now due to injury lay offs but trust me they are far far better than the Ujah and Akpala option when fit and back in action. That is my point.

I am just kinda sad for Afelokhai. He's going the way of Chijioke Ejiogu and Dele Aiyenugba all those years ago.
Besides, Uzoho himself is still young. It won't hurt to have years of experience beside him.

The system is filled with mediocre. The best will be allowed to fizzle out.

My sense of judgement tells me even Uzoho is not the best. I will agree when others are given the chance to prove themselves.
