The minimum qualification to contest an election is WE AC. You will only have problem when you present a forged certificate. In other words, you can even a PhD but choose only to present WEAC which still meet up the minimum requirement.

The minimum requirement for anybody aspiring for the post of the President in Nigeria is an O'Level. It is a plus if the aspirant has a master degree and PhD. Buhari have what is even higher than O'Level, he has a master degree in Strategy Studies from US Army War College. You can google the school site to confirm.

Lazy Arguement. Dont you know that it is statutorily compulsory that a graduate not in military service below the age of 30, is required to serve in NYSC, otherwise above that age , you obtain Exception Certificate

The people asking for Buhari's NYSC certificate will feel so good about themselves like they are saying something very profound. A simple question was asked. Where is Saraki's NYSC certificate? I expect some loyalist of his to quickly alert him to respond quickly and shine. But then, see how the opportunity was blown. NYSC certificate is a requirement companies and government parastals require from persons seeking formal jobs. The certificate is not a requirement for elective positions as section 131 of the 1999 Constitution clearly states that a secondary school certificate is what is required to assume an elective position. Saraki does not require to show a NYSC certificate therefore.
Kemi Adeosun was forced to resign not as a result of not having the NYSC certificate but as a result of culpability in forgery, fraud, misrepresentation and her fear of possible prosecution for perjury consequently since the matter was already in court.
