is from you guys, am seeing/hearing this 221g code, i logged into my profile and exactly on the 10th working day, the reshedule interview option popped up. got an sms now that my passport is ready for pickup at the dhl office i specified, even the feb 28th reshudle date in no longer available, its now march 2019!!!

I picked up my passport and a letter instructing that I reschedule another interview under 221G Category no sooner than two days.

Truth however is, there's no application for B1/B2 that doesn't go through AP, it's the time it spends at that level that is the difference. Also note that the US embassy in Nigeria and the VOs are not unaware from time immemorial that virtually the bulk of documents our peeps come into the interview hall with could be fake. This accounts for why they are less interested in documents, they prefer you don't shove your documents in their direction/face without being asked to during interviews, and why they will rather for now always improve on their one-on-one interview technicalities with us. They know the documents to ask for if need be, and marriage certificate doesn't rank high in that order for the B1/B2.

But apply for an immigrant visa and see if they will not pull resources to get to the root of that your application. There's a reason for this!

I login for the past two days but I don't see 2221G nor reschedule. I have called the Consulate they said they will get back to me. Does it mean nobody here has done the process? If it was pretty easy, I won't be asking. Moreover, I did the entire application myself prior to the interview without any challenge.

Unless something has changed, it ought to be a straightforward process. Well, call the US Embassy Customer Care line and get directions from them as a last resort....

use the feedback on your profile. send them a mail, attach your passport data page and the 221g form indicating you're unable to schedule for an interview.

They will respond in about 3 days and you'll see dates immediately you log in. Happened to someone close and that was how it was resolved. Best...
