Wholesome? Did you mean that the job I taken from start to finish?
Was just discussing with the masons this morning as I was passing by a site...they were more than ready to migrate and do a plastering for a duplex and the window hood.
They said that's how much they charge here in Kd...small or big job ooo

I meant they prefer to take whole jobs especially if the distance from their house to site is far. That way if the bargain is right and if doing the job based on daily pay will take say 5 days. They will run it in 2 or 3 days and use d remaining for logistics/miscellaneous.
But the price is good.
Hope you speak or understand Hausa or whatever language they speak

People who have built their houses should please answer me cry and help a hustling sister trying to make it in this buhari régime without a man

you did not need to tell us this! nobody needs this kind of information here, especially saying so in a male dominated section.

Septic tank & soak away are detached.
10' x 10' for septic tank & 6' x 6' for soakaway.
9" blocks with properly reinforced columns, carrying midway beams.

Please somebody should reply the question about price per Sqm for P.O.P. Then, I have a zillion questions to ask too.
1. After roofing, what are the next things to do until turn key state?
2. I know of 4 types of parapets, aluminum, in situ, precast and polyestherene. But, u see only the precast and in situ being done everywhere. Can someone tell me if it is cheaper? I've seen the aluminum parapet and it looks cool. Any idea of the price and availability?
3. Can 5.5m be enough to get a 4 bedroom flat up to a level where someone can move in?
4. Over here in Uyo, Akwaibom state, u see a lot of people using 5" blocks to build, which is alien to me, what are the pros and cons for doing this? Let me stop here for now. Thanks all.

Good day all! Please i need help My project (a block of 2 flats with concrete parapet and stone coated roofing tiles) was built with 5 inches blocks, didn't know of it until recently. I base abroad and the building was entrusted in the hands of a family member. What are the risks of building with 5 inches blocks? It's as if my world is crumbling I read somewhere that such structures are not solid. Please help me, advice me on what to do. I have spent all my savings erecting the structure. Thanks

I can see supporting pillar at the edge. You're safe.
However, on your next project don't entrust it the hands of family members. Use professionals like rotech77, spyder880: they are not too expensive and they have a reputation to protect. If budget is not an issue go for oga skimanski.

Not everything you read from some where is entirely true.
It's just a way to promote better ways to do it.
Though the blocks don't look like 5", but nothing will go wrong with your building even if its 5" blocks.
The most important thing is doing your foundation/sub-structure well.

Talking about getting worried, from the pix, it appears apart from the columns/pillars put at the ends of the building there seems not to be any intermediate. Is that not also supposed to be a concern since your structure carries a concrete fascia?
