You have all the answers to your questions.

Conventional 20w50 is bad for your engine.

Full synthetic engine oils provide better protection (5w30)

Engine oils with 75k tags are just playing a marketing Game, it's same formula without the tag.

Thank you sir, i use Castrol 5-30w when I find it, they are usually not easy to get from regular engine Oil dealers or filling station. They all seems to sell 20-50w. Thank you very much.

I have been avoiding turning this thread to a marketing thread, but search my threads you will find oils that will suite your vehicle.

Good day boss. Honda Accord 2005 v6. The triangle light stays on when car comes on. then TCS adds up after car moves to 40kmh. Scan pulls up no codes. Please advice. Seeing the yellow light on my dashboard freaks me out.

use a high end scanner, and scan other systems.

Afternoon sir, barely 2 weeks after servicing Camry 06 with hardex 5w-30 fully synthetic oil, oil level is low again. What could be the cause and what is/are the solution(s).

Engine is still sharp, though mileage is above 170k.

Camry 06-08 (2AZ-FE america) happened you should not use 5w30. Try 5w40 but not that Hardex crap

Get a proper OFF-road vehicle, the 4runner 2004-2006 with a fixed rear axle and an indestructible 1GR-FE engine. You will be alright

Get a proper OFF-road vehicle, the 4runner 2004-2006 with a fixed rear axle and an indestructible 1GR-FE engine. You will be alright

Gazzuzz kindly enlighten me on fixed axle. Do we the movable type?

Buy and replace piston rings and valve stem seals when the time callas for it

Good day sir,

I have a rx300 which I changed the transmission less than 5 months ago. Just recently I noticed it revving up before reversing. I also noticed that while on D and driving the rpm would fluctuate badly and sometimes shoot up to 5000 6000 rpm. I think it wasn't changing gears. There's transmission fluid at the correct level. Yesterday i made a u turn and it didnt go into reverse...just revving up. I managed to put on neutral and push it before moving. The rpm kept fluctuating all througgh the drive and i coukdnt go morr than 40. Does this mean the transmission is bad again. Also is this something you can work on for me. Do you work on or replace transmissions? Do you sell this transmission. How much do you envisage it will cost? I would appreciate your prompt response.

It's not a 4wd.
