smiley my first few days were used to curse Nigerian past and present leaders, i still secretly curse them beneath my breath especially when I read about the organised criminal gang we call government and see the BMC crew supporting them blindly. well food is cheap and surplus, transport is cheap and well organized(first time in an underground speed train for me was fun), and if you ain't greedy or lazy, you can leave a quality life (unlimited internet, fresh food, access to public parks, manageable jobs to carter for bills and Little savings) and most importantly you can actually plan your own life without government wahala, or social/religious crises no NLC/ASUU strike

Nigeria shouldn't have been given independent when we go it... It should have been delayed to 1990s...maybe we would have been far more developed in all strata of life especially Infrastructure & working Institutions sad sad

And anyone that hasn't left the shores of naija na im no go know the bad when we leaders don do us...

Nigeria simply has no standard.

No standard for buildings. You can decide to build your house at the centre of the road, and settle the authorities with your money.

No standard for education. Its those that don't have money to sort that read.

No standard for healthcare.

No standard for security

No standard for living.

No standard for religion

Just behave as you like... Anyhow.

Benin republic is outside country too nah.... "Over stream".

While I was there.... I was bewildered as to the constant power supply.... And the preservation of their culture by their people.... Despite the assimilation policy of the french.

Life was very Natural and I enjoyed it.. wink

Obviously.... We are know life in many countries are wonderful.... Especially in europe..

My advise... Please don't go to this countries... If you do you will suffer.

Philippine
Iran
Irag
Gorgia
African countries.... (South Africa included)
Pakistan
Afghanistan
Yemen
North korea
South America (yes including Brazil)
North Cyprus

You can visit as tourist... But please don't start a life here oo... I beg you..

On the flip side.... You can live here at your own peril if you are a trader, fruadster.... Drug baron and Mafian

(remember your children will be a product of the society you reside).

But now my eyes don open o,even the standard of living in Benin republic and Togo is better than Nigeria grin

South Africa is by far more develop than Nigeria.
one day your mumu will surely do. So you don't know Suth Africa is the most developed country in the whole Africa? And it's all thanks to the whites that stayed longer on their soil. They handed a complete country to them.

You're right figure of speech and irony is the answer.

But you're also wrong because tenses fall under certain part of speech and not as independent past of speech.

Example: Singing is a present continues tense but the part of speech is a verb. (The tense "singing" is an action word" )

grin tongue grin English and palava
\

really, singing? verb? Have you heard of gerund? derivation of a verb that functions as a noun?

The only places worse than Niggeria are countries like Somalia, Yemen and maybe the Gaza strip
