“Each one has an important part to play in the development of the nation.

“In the nation, mutual support and encouragement, sincere recognition and involvement of all well-meaning and qualified citizens are necessary to avoid wastage of lives and resources.

“We can and we must put the past behind us to build a great nation for the present and the coming generations.

Yes sir. Nigeria requires expertise from all angles of the society . This includes the Gay community. And sir, may I remind u that 90% of rich men are gays, me includied

I can assure you that you are deluded. I'd love to see the data you collected for your statistics on how 90% of rich men are great.

Besides, I don't see how condoning a particular mental illness will make Nigeria gay.

I wish you speedy recovery nonetheless.

Kumuyi please stop saying nonsense. Tell me how many great countries are as diversed as Nigeria.
Denmark, Poland, Netherlands, Norway, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, malta, Italy, Sweden, fenmark, Finland, Portugal,. Even Asian countries are not left behind.Japanese, Korea, Vietnam, China,. Only Africans love celebrating diversity. Tell me how your diversity has benefitted your continent
don't mind dem, they talk rubbish just to make it seem they have said something on independence day..clown pastors in a rot country , with rotten politicians in governments across state..this pastors never say the truth about wat d situation is in d cesspit of a country they find themselves, they should go and ask Elijah..celebrity pastors...they feel satisfied where they are buying private jets n acquiring more lands for their business , while their obligation of speaking against injustice n unfairness in a wickedness grooming society like Nigeria is far from their interest..they keep twisting words n beating around the bush, n u quickly see them froolickiing wit politicians who have become enemies of the state n ppl...the fact that this pastors who should be more angrier than Elijah about the plight an issues of a country they keep engaging it ppl on empty verbosity with no passionate action of interest of the welfare, pain and agony the ppl experience due to men like them, whom they don't even channel their preaching to, makes it clear that this egusi mounthed pastors are far away from the ppl, repeating fabbles and channeling their cynical talks to the same Nigerians who have been tortured and are still being tortured by wicked criminals in power whom they frorrick around wit...wat real driving force of change have they attempted in d country to try putting an end to a little part of d madness they witness in d country n put up a face of denial n farce preaching? "Our father, who art in heaven , hallo be thy name, thy kingdom come, let thy will be done " here on earth" as it is in heaven...kumuyi n Nigerian pastors be concerned about ur country, ur immediate society n start raising some movement to do something about it, n stop churning barbladash...have true feelings n concern about the ppl n the children's plight..not borgous verbosity...

mrakeli62:
General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church Worldwide, Pastor William Kumuyi, on Sunday said Nigeria had been unable to march its development with inherent possibilities because of the people’s failure to either harness or utilise the nation’s diversity for their collective greatness.

He said that Nigeria was endowed with resourceful citizens who could drive the nation to envious heights.

However, he regretted that contentions and divisions had deprived the citizens of personal and national greatness in times past.

Kumuyi stressed that Nigeria would be on the path to greatness if citizens were united and there was a harmonious coordination of the nation’s diversities.

He said: “No doubt, our nation, like the Corinthian church, is endowed with highly resourceful citizens by the Almighty God.

“Selfless and committed to our national development, we could easily become the envy of many nations but our national development has not matched our great possibilities like Corinth.

“Interdependent, interconnected, interrelated, we are on our way to national greatness: we are unstoppable.”

What exactly is 'independent' about a country that depends on others for its financial stability? Can a man who still depends on his parents for stipends be called an independent man or is he just a child disguised as an adult?

Our political leaders will hide this information from people.
Despite their incompetence in governance they still want to retain the power dey don't know how to manage.

People talking 'bout men of God saying "with all their prayer and fastings, what good has it done to the nation?" Really, it's not that God does not hear these prayers. The thing is that we have our individual roles to play as citizens, as political leaders, church leaders, as lecturers, as parents, as children, as pastors, as imams, to do what is right. We pray and we do right. The prayers of faithful ministers of God and individuals is what is still sustaining Nigeria today believe it or not, it's just the fact.
