In the Enyimba match against Rayon Sport in Kigali, here are the words from one of the super sports commentators/pundits. It was probably TK ;

"if I was the Nigerian senior national team coach, I would give this Enyimba goal keeper(Afelokhai) a call up, at least, as a compensation for his heroics so far in this competition. Even if it means training with the team, not necessarily playing in a match, that will be enough motivation for him to keep doing what he is doing and doing it even better"

I was like, if only u knew that the one on the bench is always selected instead... This is injustice

That mindset is what often keeps Africans behind. Listen to me bro, I have always bulldozed my way into starting eleven for every single team I have played for. Even when we went to the state camp in those days, I was competing for the same position with the team captain and, after watching me for a few days, the coached asked me if I wanted to move to the CM position to guarantee me a starting slot but I declined and continued fighting for my spot. At the end of the day, I was usually the first person on the team sheet.

The same thing happened in college and I fought and fought until I got my position back! So go figure ....

It's confirmed ezenwa or akpeyi have rohr's nude pics cos I see no reason why either of those two are being called up at the expense of Theo afelokhai

Tyrone, vicmo and ebere to join Omo you have a pretty formidable squad on your hands

Why is Enyimba goalie not included in this list?
What is the technical unit of NFF doing to get this dude called up to the SE?

A pretty decent list but when should we start mixing up this goalkeeping department? It's obvious that Ezenwa and most especially Akpeyi are NOT national team caliber goalkeepers, so why do we keep wasting slots by inviting them instead of giving other goalkeepers a chance

i think Rohr is comfortable with what he has now. It may take Uzoho getting ruled out for a long period for he and Alloy to come up with reasonable replacements

Well, it appears Kelechi Nwakali is not ready and so needs to go back to the oven to continue the baking.
Iwobi is a naturally gifted AM rated higher than K.Nwakali. Even if Nwakali was in this team Iwobi will still start ahead of him.

I also agree Ebere Eze deserved this opportunity with the absence of Mikel and Joel.

Just 4 midfielders eh? .Perhaps we will see Iwobi in the no.10 role .
I wonder why Mikel didn't make d list .He is back from injury already.

Simmy exclusion is no surprise at all.. Simon injury has made him stay that long..Would have preferred him to Ighalo though grin

Still a very good list...

Let the K.Nwakali baking in the Oven continue. I wholeheartedly agree.

But with no natural AM on that list of midfielders in Mikel's absence, I hope Rohr can look the way of Ebere Eze in the nearest future. The kid is another real deal talent in the CAM role.

And yes, Iwobi is wayyy above any of the CAM prospects we are even looking at be it K.Nwakali, Ebere Eze or even Ejaria. But I hope Rohr deploys him there oooo coz Rohr sees Iwobi as an LM and LW first and I hope that changes soonest. I really hope to see Rohr deploy Iwobi in the AM role since we have the likes of Simon Moses and Onyekuru on the left in this list. Even Ahmed Musa is present (even though he can also be deployed as a CF- best in a two man attack).

We go see shaa.

Egbon,be honest oo..Nwakali chance of getting another call up while in Porto B is very slim..The first call up was just for formality sake.. No matter how talented he is, he should prove that at a higher level first.. If arsenal can't guarantee him first team.football he should leave! Even if its to the Belgian league!

I will have to research on that because Rohr started with a void in our RB position.
komekn:

As it stands currently under normal circumstances Dominic does not merit a call up.

However, I used the term normal circumstances.

But I was referring to the period when he was a regular for Wolves who were in the Championship at the time. He made is commitment and Rohr even visited him.

However, he invited to camp a few youth players but not Dominic.

I am asking people to not be superficial but have some depth in looking at the issues. Considering the involvement of Dominic senior in contesting presidency with Amaju.

Is it wrong knowing how our politics of election always ends in animosity, rancour and hostility. To speculate as to thier being other reasons for his exclusion.

He went to the chinko league where he knew he would score well.. Then grabbed his chance against Cameroon and cemented the CF role.
