MrMann1:Hmm..maybe your program requires you to actually do a CPT before you attain 1 full year. That is the only explanation, I still believe you cant do a CPT before being a student for one full year. Also doing a CPT for more than one year makes you in eligible for OPT. https://www.internationalstudent.com/study_usa/way-of-life/working-in-the-usa/ https://redbus2us.com/can-you-work-on-cpt-from-day-1-in-second-masters-in-us-uscis-regulations/ https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/sevis-help-hub/student-records/fm-student-employment/f-1-curricular-practical-training-cpt |

Once you get your i-20, arrange for SEVIS fee payment. This cost $200, then pay visa fee of N57k plus. Get your own statement of account; get your sponsor statement of account, then as you do these, prepare for your interview. Get to know beforehand what and what question you'll be asked and prepare very personal answers to these questions. Pray for God's favour, and when you get your visa, boom. Goodluck. If you need more information, ask here or write to me. I would like to see your transcript. Gabbybanks: 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Ask your questions and let those with informed mind help you out. What exactly do you want to know? Admission is simple, if you know the rule. Getting visa for such program is not an exception; in fact, you have a chance because we all know we lack the techniques to train pilots (I assume this is the end goal) in Nigeria. yacha77: |

If you want to write it, go ahead. But note that writing the test does not guarantee visa. You have got to prepare yourself for the interview, too. Goodluck to you! dk2baba: |

Lol! How do you know one week is good enough? Na you won write the exam? Don't you know some students have never opened their English test books for years? Let him prepare until he feels confident enough. The amount of preparation require can never be the same for every student. But I understand you! Ezehrobinson: 3 Likes |

dk2baba: Per the ETS website, the current cost of the TOEFL internet based test in Nigeria is $195 (https://www.ets.org/bin/getprogram.cgi?urlSource=toefl&newRegURL=&test=TOEFL&greClosed=new&greClosedCountry=China&browserType=&toeflType=&redirect=&t_country1=group_Nigeria). However, some folks on Nairaland (Ponpon and B.Y. Mafit) seem to be able to register for a lesser amount; and they have been continuously shown to be genuine. You may want to contact them. For the procedure, if you're registering directly through ETS, you'll have to create an account and do the registration online. If you go through Ponpon or B.Y. Mafit, I believe they do the registration for you. You can also inquire about study materials from them. Hope this helps. 1 Like |

Ezehrobinson: Everyone has different capacity for studying and assimilating materials. One week may be enough time to prepare for the exam for one person but may be insufficient time for another person. It's all about knowing what works best for you and going with it. |

LearnAndObey:Fair enough VO: Why US?Not so great an answer, as the VO probably knows that not everywhere in the US is this same, so a more city specific answer is preferred.
