There is no Eri hypothesis of Igbo origin.
Let's be guided
Then you should know that Igbo people from Anambra/Enugu area of Igbo Land are 90% acolyte/devotees of Eri centric school of thought.

I read all that he had posted after that flawed analysis he made, and I decided his views do not merit anymore response.
Yeah, its an open discussion in which everyone presents his ideas, suggestions etc.
However, his views show that his mind is bogged down in a dark, empty and timid shell.
He largely believes we are advocating for a full on, frontal confrontation with the central government as the means of liberation and realizing an Igbo nation.

I hope he gradually gets to unshackle himself. This isn't about discussing what we can't do. Its about what is workable and realistic...and they are largely medium to long term goals.
His comments in the previous page concerning the war showed he knows very little about that event. I admonished him to go read up on its history, but he prefers to shoot blanks here.
Igbos like Bede2 abound on this forum. All they know are the jaundiced toxic and revised defeatist narratives/narration churned out by the state controlled Lagos/Ibadan media fronts. Sadly, most of the trash have become strongholds in the minds of our people. We owe ourselves a duty to counter the lies with the hidden truths. There is a lot our people need to unlearn and be guided in.Without mental revolution, physical revolution is not possible and attainable. Fora like this is capable of radicalizing and redirecting a generation to do things better. Ka Udo chia!

There are many places bearing Onicha in Igboland , they might be related in some way?

Onitsha (Anambra)
Onicha-Ugbo (Delta)
Onicha-Igboeze (Ebonyi)
Onicha-Enugwu (Enugu state)
Onicha-Olona (Delta)
Add Onicha Mbaise (Imo) and Onicha Ngwa (Ngwa) to your list.

Onicha is one of those proto Igbo word that it's meaning has been lost.

Another wildspread Word like Onicha used all over Igbo speaking realm is "Owerre".

1. Owerre-Uratta (Popular Owerri Imo capital)
2. Owelle-Ezukala (Orumba Anambra)
3. Owerre-Olubor (Ika Delta)
4. Umueleke Owerre ( Mbano Imo)
5. Owerrinta (Abia state)
6. Owerre. (Awgu Enugu)
Owerre ebiri(Imo State)
