The issue of domestic violence can not be over-emphasised. A Nigerian woman who was seriously brutalised and wounded allegedly by her own husband after a heated quarrel some days ago, is in pains both emotionally and physically.

According to a report, the man used machete to flog his wife mercilessly after their disagreement, not minding the brutal marks it designed on her body.

The distraught woman contacted the Due Process Advocates, to initiate a legal suit against the alleged abusive husband and possible prosecution by the police as she shared pictures of her body after the assault.

It was also alleged that this is not the first time the husband is maltreating and assaulting his wife.

How can someone be so mean to beat with a machete? The worst is how a man can descend so low to beat his wife for any reason whatsoever. I think men in this category needs some rehabilitation ASAP.
