How do you define 'tech savy'?

And mind you, the ratio of tech-savvy peeps to non tech-savvy counterparts in India is huge i.e about 3/10 even lower than nigeria
you define 'tech savvy' how I define 'tech savvy'

and I disagree, some the best academic training an individual can get in fields like medicine, Pharmacy, engineering, economics and other subsidiaries of the medical field is in India. Every development community both for phones and for laptops or desktops has a heavy Indian participation. They are always willing to try new things often to their detriment, unlike we that are so cautious. The Indian world of ICT development is far ahead of Nigeria's own. So what are you now comparing?

It's not the level of technological that matters, but the ratio of those who have access to it. The vast majority of Indians are living in abject poverty

This argument tho. Asides US, OEMs literally only make some models specifically for China and India.

This should tell everyone a lot about population, purchasing power and interest.

India's population is 1.32 billion, and the number of poor people is about 179.6 million, and this number will reduce as time goes on. Now compare that ratio with Nigeria and see the difference
