Who are those serious people working to unite Igbos?
They are bunch of jokers. If you want to unite Ndiigbo with a people, the least you can do is do a comprehensive research on the people you are seeking to unite us with.
The African mind doesn't understand the need for research, they just sit in the comfort of the rooms and start drawing senseless Maps uniting themselves with a people who view us as oppressors and with hate.

Have you taken time to go to Ikwerreland and research on how their commoners regard Ndiigbo?
If you are too lazy to do that, the least you can do is join their facebook book pages and see things for themselves.
That is if you don't want to listen to their elites like Wike Omehia, and Amaechi who had continued to disassociate themselves with Ndiigbo and only do so when they need to exploit us.

Common, you lots should show dignity for once, Igbo use to have wise people, what happened to our wisdom?
As far as I know sire there are Ikwerres who identify with the Igbo nation, how would they feel when they see your post. I'm not asking we Igbos to become beggars because of some our misguided brothers who have choose to remain blind than face the truth.
Igbos in S.E are big brothers to the other Igbo tribes so we must behave as such. We have achieved alot in life but our enemies will fear us only when we unite together. They (Ikwerre and their likes) can keep hating but we have been doing better ignoring them hoping that they will come back to their senses, treat any of the sensible ones like the father did to his prodigal son in the Bible. I belong to many of their fb groups but I just smile when I see any spewing venoms, Igbos are too great to exchange words with everyone. Let's forget on Biafra, we are not beggars and can never beg them.
Here in the north, my friend who is Isoko is called 'Inyamiri' (Igbo) not to talk of an Ikwerre man! (I have a kwale neighbour.. Well that will be story for another day). Just like everybody wants to identify with Jews so will all who hate Igbos struggle to be Igbo descendants.

Politics? Is that a reason for a Gov who may claim in the future to culturally be Igbo, named a State project after the name of a man who killed over 3m of his people and destroyed the cities of his kinsmen...

Was it also politics that made these same people to seize buildings and land that were not theirs after the war?

Politics is not the problem, hatred is the problem and now we are out to give them double of that hatred.

Don't even start with that of ministers

How Igbo ministers and governors have done well for their people? That's why I see you keep blending culture with politics.

Ikwerrre can claim anything in the name of politics, but they know who they are culturally. Ask an ijaw man what they call an ikwerre man, they are igbos! They say it to ikwerre peoples faces! They ikwerre, just want to be politically distinct, leave them to their fate. But don't allow them deceive you into balkanizing igboland. It is internationally known that igboland stretches from agbor to port Harcourt. Any other issue after that is simply geoPOLITICS.

Ikwerre non Igbo claim is nolonger a matter of politics, it's now cultural, it's ingrained inside every Ikwerre youth, they believe it and defend it violently, if need be.

Igbo ministers and governors don't deny being Igbo, so I don't know what your point is. I was in Ndi Anambra facebook page when some one posted congratulatory messages for Nigeria on first October, only to be descended on and castigated by Majority of Ndi Anambra there, with many telling the poster that they are not Nigerians.
It tells you the mindset of the average Igbo man. Because those people there are the commoners. We All know that the political elites only stand for their selfish interests.
The Ikwerre commoners and elites are united in their Igbophobia. It's a different ball game. Go to Ikwerre facebook book pages and confirm this. Go to PH city and confirm this. Some of you might choose to live in denial, but the majority of us would nolonger accept to do so.
The Ijaw call the Ikwerre Igbos because they know Ikwerres hate being called Igbos. Down there in Rivers state, they had reduced the word Igbo to a thing of curse. When a Rivers State group want to insult the other, they call them "Igbos". That's how these people had degraded our ethnic pride, with the help of Igbos like you who have no self dignity and would continue sucking up to them.

Nobody is balkanizing Igboland. The Igboland our fathers know is no more, the Igboland we have today is SE plus Oyigbo, it's the Igboland we had known since we were born (most of us were born after the war), hence we must work with it.
When you accept your limitations, no one would use it against you. Ndiigbo have to accept the reality starring us on our faces today, the more we deny this reality, the more we would suffer.

We were all here when Amaechi was furious with GEJ for granting Abia State her disputed oil wells Rivers state claimed.
Amaechi showed his true colors, when he asked GEJ, if "they" (Rivers) are now Biafrans (Igbos).
In essence he was subtly reminding GEJ that it is only Igbos that her oil wells had been agreed to be stripped of, by the Nigerian government. GEJ giving those oil wells to Abia State, is akin to giving Rivers people, the Biafran treatment.
Recall how Mammar Nasir boundary adjustment committee in 1976 took away Oil producing parts of old Imo state Now called Egbema and Obigbo and added to Rivers state.

But today, whenever it's convenient for Amaechi to escape Igbo criticism, he tells us that he is Igbo, and gullible Igbos would be too blind to see through this charade.
Amaechi claim Igbo, yet he is the minister of transport under whose regime a railway scheme was being proposed that totally skipped SE. Under his regime, SE AIIA has been left to rot while PH airport keeps receiving all the attention needed.

Its in our hands to correct this errors. Germany was once a fragmented state, orchestrated by her enemies in the then old Europe, it took one man, Ottoman Von Bismarck, to unite Germany.

Visit every Ikwerre thread available in NL and you would see my contributions there.
Just because you have few Ikwerre friends who profess Igbo identity and love, doesn't mean we should all overlook the Ikwerre mainstream agenda to accommodate them.
Igbo is a nation, any Ikwerre man that loves Ndiigbo can naturalize and would be accepted, but Ikwerre as an entity cannot be accepted as Igbo without undermining our collective Igbo agenda.

Looking at Wike, he's very ambitious, very soon he would seek to take our place in the national discussion and the Ikwerre mainstream would tone down on their Igbophobia, while the few Igbophilic ones amongst them would become more vociferous in their Igbo unity message, and we would be set to be used and dumped again.

Are you lots not ashamed of yourselves that these minority groups have us this fooled?

Imagine how these group of Igbo people are without pride or dignity.

Listen to Wike comments right before the stadium was named Gowon stadium.
Remember that that same stadium was initially named Liberation stadium in 1970, in reference to their alleged liberation by Gowon and Nigerians from Igbo oppressors who sought to kill them and possess their lands.

Now in 2017, as if to rob salt to injury, they renamed it Gowon stadium.

“Many of us, who are now enjoying the fruits of liberty, may not truly appreciate what it meant to be dominated, dispossessed, deprived, exploited and oppressed, in your own land by the dominant social and political tendencies of the time.
“Before Rivers State was created, our people could not find schools in their neighbourhood, hospitals to treat the sick, universities to educate their children, decent jobs to earn income and good roads to their communities.”

I think that guy's problem is that he tried unsucessfully to date an Ikwerre girl.

But seriously, we know there are squabbles in every clan including the Yorubas or Fulanis.

I agree that the SE igbos should not always turn their back to be used. If a negotiated benefit cannot happen with our Ikwerre brothers, then everyone should go it alone. But not to come to nairaland to spew hate against othe Igbo groups.

I also agree the SE should not be made to depend on facilities in the SS - including the SS airports. Igbos should LEARN to build their own facilities than agree to attach to anybody's facilities. I vividly remember in 1980s, Igbos used to queue up for admission at Uniport, and it brought unprecedented tension with Ikwerre and Ijaw people.

Gov Jim Nwobodo as an astute administrator got Prof Kenneth Dike (1st U.I Vice Chancellor) and other notable professors and set up a State University with Campuses in Abakaliki, Awka and Nnewi ! That school satisfied the urge for Igbos to go to Uniport and UNN. Soon enough, Sam Mbakwe did the same thing in Uturu, Imo State.

Igbos should learn to build facilities they need in their land. If Igbos can do that, they will solve 80% of their problems in Nigeria because the other people simply want to use Igbo numbers to run their facilities. While reminding Igbos at every juncture that they don't belong.

IPOB is considering ALL of the old eastern region for REFERENDUM. it is the referendum that determines who is or who isn't.

You are misinterpreting IPOB. I know them too well.

Biafra will lose big time if you consider others for referendum Cos they will vote against Biafra.
The only reason Biafra is bloody is because we are tagging others along, Nigeria believes they are the ones with the oil and wouldn't let Biafra happen. Again, they think it's an Igbo runs and are ready to exterminate Igbo to stop that.
So, since they believe it's just for Igbo advantage, Igbos should fight for it alone.
The referendum should be restricted to Igbo people only, that way, the pass rate will be high.

Any Igbo in the north has partly sacrificed his life already. It is like enlisting in the army in a wartime. You should be prepared for it.

But i say to you guys again, make money and relocate to Burkina Faso or Niamey instead of living in northern Nigeria. I know this is like pouring water on stone, because you guys already made up your minds. So stay, but be ready to fight to the death. At least to defend your family and your business.

Biafra will lose big time if you consider others for referendum Cos they will vote against Biafra.
The only reason Biafra is bloody is because
The referendum should be restricted to Igbo people only, that way, the pass rate will be high.

The idea intends achieving two things -

1. Determine those who identify as biafrans
2. Determine those who want a seperate Biafra republic. This is because not all Biafra minded Igbo want a new Biafra republic

Frankfrancis871 Stop being afraid of any abok! buy your own Ak47 and hide, when they start their madness kill as many as you can before going down.
Sir you won't understand. I will also reveal what happened on that day, Nasarawa is not hausaland, these people were brainwashed to see Igbos as their problem. Hausas are friendly but they can kill when it comes to religion, hatred and politics

I will reveal more facts, stay tune

Oga,
Any Igbo in the north has partly sacrificed his life already.

I'm relocating this year but its painful to start afresh

If you have read Robert Greene's book, principles of war. See the best way to solve a problem is calling out your hater to the public to openly define his intentions and feelings towards you. We need to call out Ikwerre people on national TV and ask them whether they are Igbo or not.

Yes, it's painful to start afresh but more painful to be killed and your corpse burnt with your shop.

Just relocate Bro! It's not even worth it to live in northern Nigeria.
