so when will Ighalo the old horse start to play well?

stop giving foolish facts here....
who scored the brace against mozabique in afcon 2008 and assisted yak?
who scored the brace against Zimbabwe in Abuja on 2006 world cup qualifier and also the penalty equalizing against Angola in Benin in 2014 afcon qualifier?
and who scored the 2 goals against RSA and a goal against Mali in afcon 2004 ?

Ighalo has never scored half of those goals....osaze ever scored.
please....feed us with true facts ...

Comparing Ighalo with Osaze is like comparing Buhari with Obama.

iheanacho definitely has a lot of improving to do but i have to admit i've noticed a trend where if he plays well some monikers were too busy to see him play but when he plays badly hey presto suddenly the schedule would magically be free to see how badly KC played.

SlayerForever:

Iheanacho is a decent player on his day but in recent times has been piss poor. Absolutely. Don't let any sick fool bully you. Look at Iwobi. Look at Ekong. Look at Eberechi Eze getting called up by the English youth team. Look at Samuel Chukwueze making the step up to the Villarreal senior team. Look at the resurgent Success, is he not Nacho's age mate? Okay look at Osimhen,√ the young man has picked up the pieces and is doing very well. Look at Musa at Nassr. These are players who are keeping it real. Except that Huddersfield game where he really stood out, Iheanacho currently❌

Super Eagles Camp Update

Training venue change.

Today’s training session now holds at the gym and premises of Ibom Hotel.

We regret whatever inconveniences this change may have caused the media and our fans who had planned to watch the open session at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

really not impressed with the sloppiness and general lackadaisical attitude of the nff, players/coaching crew to preps for this match. we need to get serious

Listening on the radio and just realizing how much firepower the Nigerian team has. If we can harness these potentials we would have a blooming golden generation similar to that of the Belgians.

If you look at it objectively, there are people who are obviously tribalistic or bias towards analyzing player performance. If those people only criticize Nacho when he has a bad game that can be overlooked because they are overtly tribalist,to the point of being silly (not that I personally have a problem with someone being tribalist if they can still use their brain).. However, that a few are tribalist does not mean the other people should worship a piss poor player to the point of cyberbullying others into resignation. That is so wrong. 2 wrongs don't make a right and I say Bleep them Iheanacho worshippers! Iheanacho has been poor over a number of games both for club and country. He notably stood out in that Huddersfield game. They can bow to Iheanacho 10 times a day facing the east, their fucking business. Iheanacho can do much better,I'm not cutting him no slack anymore with that much potential and at this current level.

Iheanacho is a flash player, he is the kind of player who will score an hattrick and still get an average match rating. He shows moments of brilliance and not all-through solid performance. So when he has bad days, he completely disappears.

Iheanacho currently has a place behind the striker in the super eagles 4-5-1 formation. Based on form,Iwobi is good to go,probably he can take that spot though not his normal position. (Success up front). If in the future Eberechi Eze is capped and Nacho is still doing this thing he's doing, all things being equal he can fly to the bench.

My brother you see ehn we're in a situation national team wise, where we're getting a lot of talents coming through. The space for slacking is becoming very small. We can't take it anymore because it will be an injustice to some other young talents if golden boy is not performing but you keep playing him.

the nff and rohr shouldn't wait for this lads with dual citizenship to reach stardom before capping them. once the potentials is spotted in a particular player he should be approached and if he fancies the opportunity been presented to him by the football house he should be capped in the next competitive game even if it means giving them few minutes to the end of the encounter.

i strongly believe the likes of eze, maja, ejaria and billing are ours but the nff and rohr have to be very active in their pursuit of this lads.
Magink:

Rohr messed up big time and to think we had the opportunity to Cap him last year but failed.I don't know why we like to make simple things difficult in this part. I actually say an article where he said he prefers Nigeria to England but they took it down don't know why. Also Josh Maja should be invited he is on the rise.

the kid is a gold on the rough. he is just 19 but should be capped by rohr for us to tie him down. i foresee the english inviting him to one of their youth teams in no distant time. aneke ko elekeni! cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

ChrisKels:
Josh Maja is exactly what we demand from players in the obscure leagues. If u must play in a lower league, u must be the best. Maja is a giant in the midst of dwarfs hence, the interests pouring unlike certain players like Iorfa and Aneke who haven't done no jack, yet, their names are brandished around here by some folks for reasons best known to them. Until they stand out as Maja just did, sorry but nobody is gonna look their ways, not even our local football sites will write anything about them.

i have been hitting on the issue of billing anyanwu here for sometime and it still baffles me that a player of nigerian origin who is one of the emerging midfielders in the epl is yet to be approached till date about the possibility of changing allegiance to play for us.

this kid is playing week in week out, shunning out good performances in the toughest league in europe and is the shinning light of relegation threatened huddlesfield this season but rohr is is yet to atleast make a move on the lad. we will only get serious to lure him when he eventually signs for one of epl's finest and gets a call up from the danish national team selectors. he plays in a position where we lack quality personnel whereas someone like aging john ogu is still getting called up while half baked nwakali jnr have already had a sniff of the team.

we need to swallow our pride and reach out to this kids who i believe will make the team stronger and more competitive. i know we can't get them all but we should grab as much as we can in order to widen our pool. the french world cup winning team was made up of 95% players of african ancestry so i see no shame in our pursuit of our sons who are born and breed out of the shores of nigeria and africa.

our major plan should be planning towards the next olympics and fifa world cup. imaging keeping talents like eze, billing, iwobi, kalu, ejaria, maja, iheanacho, ndidi, success, moses, ekong, aina, ebuehi, onomah, lookman, etebo, tomori etc together as a team for the next 2-4 years? there is a possibility that this kids can do the unthinkable by causing an upset in the next world cup if the team qualifies with expertise of a tactically savvy coach grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

I gave Billing his first mention on this thread and I believe he will bring more quality to our midfield BUT I repeat... BILLING SHOULD NOT BE A TOP PRIORITY in our recruitment drive. He is NOT an AM/CAM. He is a CDM. We have lots of CDMs... Getting Billing will just be adding another banana to the bunch we have.

We need to be strategic in our recruitment drive and focus FIRST on landing players that address our weaknesses part of which is in the CAM role.

We need an Ebere Eze and Ovie Ejaria more than we need a Phillip Billing. That is the truth. This should be our scale of preference.

I say yes to Billing but I say a first and bigger yes to Ebere and Oviemuno. We need to tackle our weaknesses first before reinforcing more of our strengths. Finito.

Well Samuel Kalu leads the attack of one of France's oldest team. Europa League starter.

Iwobi has helped his manager not to miss the services of two of Europe's most respected players in Ramsey and Ozil. He is also threading passes to two of 2017 most sought strikers in Lacazette and Aubameyang. An Europa League starter. Regular for one of Europe's biggest team.

Onyekuru is one of Europe's most valuable 21 year Olds. Might end as one of the most exciting Everton player never to play for them. A Champions League starter.

Ahmed Musa, the most expensive and current hottest player in the Middle East.

Ighalo the second most prolific player in Asia's biggest league.

Moses Simon, Iheanacho.

The benchmark of a golden generation is the age, the average age of this attack is 23.

too early to be cap tied? we are not clamouring for him to come in and dislodge any of the more experienced forwards we have in the team but for us to secure him for future purposes. this kid is just 19, painting the league 1 with goals currently and he has the potentials to be a top palyer in the nearest future. dele alli's case should serve as an eye operner

Too early for Josh Maja. His time will come. He is doing very well in league one but it's not his time just yet in the Eagles fold.
