canadabyfire:Na so toasting dey start. I don blush already only to find out that the message was specially addressed towards bbclue Check justwise rules well oh.... Perhaps there is ban for toasting because the toasting site may not be free and admin must eat to survive. So you may have to move on to the other room. @bbclue, he don pm you? As he loves your write up, you will write book and he will prove his words by buying the book! After that, you will release album and he must buy too. Then you and I will head back to Dubai again for vacation (I will accompany you as your personal accountant and custodian of the money or subscription fee we will be collecting from @canadabyfire) 3 Likes |

Exactly 12 weeks and status still on background check. It's obvious these CIC guys aren't doing much since virtually everybody is complaining of the same thing. I begin to wonder what if I had opted for paper route, would my passport still be with CIC till now? That'll be height of insensitivity and wickedness. I hope Jnyuwa02 has collected his passport, since he opted for paper route if my memory serves me right because it'll be criminal on CIC's part to hold someone's travelling document for 3 months not to talk of a year 1 Like |

bbclue:Welcome & Good morning to you... On behalf of @goingfoward, I proclaim gospel in the house through the week starting from today. Amen? Got my POE letter yesterday. When I checked the weather around December it's showing over -20 degrees. I'm beginning to wonder if they made me miss fall resumption intentionally - so that I'll run back into the plane and scream "take me back home before I freeze to death!" when I finally land. I'm suspecting these guys now maybe dey wanna make a clown out of me.... Well, canadabyfire! 3 Likes 1 Share |

MeinKampf:I think they've held my passport for up to 5 months before -22 weeks was the standard then. Those days, I used to travel from Abuja to Lagos to submit and do biometrics.... Then there was a time, I'd submit online but still travel to Lagos for biometrics.... On one occasion, I received my delay letter on my way back to Abuja from Lagos, I started wondering if they were just waiting for my biometrics to fulfill all righteousness before delaying me. On one occasion, I drove to Lagos to submit and returned to Abuja same day. Left Abuja around 5am and arrived back around 2am. I must have been in Lagos around 2pm. Drove into VFS Ikeja and out without entering Lagos deeply. I think I left Akure around 7pm on my way back to Abuja after eating in Chicken republic. On some occassions, I flew to Lagos for submission. It's been a rough ride so far. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Well depending on your relationship with the other signatory to the account. Also, is it a corporate account? Or maybe a dead parent's account that both of you have access to? (Just trying to get the real picture of that account. I'm not wishing you anything bad oo). The person can transfer the said amount to your account and do the writing justice in the Sponsorship letter. Just let me know the type of relationship and account because there might be more to it than just transferring the money to your account. hotcakept2: |

Kriff: Sponsor is my dad Signatory to both Corporate account |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Kriff: 8:32am On Oct 10, 2018 |
That's even better. If it's just both of you alone that holds the signatory to both corporate accounts then no need of even transferring the said amount to your account. Just a letter from the bank stating the signatories to the account will do. Because parent sponsorship is not doubted like other types of Sponsorship. Your father cannot leave you to suffer in canada. But if you both are not the only signatories then he can transfer your funds to your personal account and state it in his sponsorhip letter that he has done that just to show that you have uninterrupted access to your required funds. Goodluck. You can ask gurus in the house for their take on it. But you're good since your father is your sponsor. hotcakept2: |

Who knows the problem currently with cic, why are they not attending to applications from Nigeria. People have defer admission to winter yet no reply from the embassy. Bro, them granting us visa is a privilege not our right. We just have to beg our Nigerian fellows to do right and not let other countries look at us with bad eyes. The scrutiny now is because of past occurrences. And we can't Blame them because we will sure do that to save our beloved Nigeria from the hands of bad people in quote. We hope for the best. I totally understand you. Lagos2canna: |

Those folks that have gotten their TRV, my advice to y’all is to book your flight now cause December and January air ticket price will be outrageous. The cheapest I’ve seen so far is Egyptair US$560 but am pretty sure e go get belle from late November. Please if you’ve seen cheaper flight notify the house |

papyskinsy: Man want to abandon his oau msc (please permit me to laff ) Okay try Brandon, Regina, UPEI, Umanitoba. Check their official website and go straight to international student to get their requirements. Mind you, never you declare you abandoned your oau msc to the VO. that one be say you done shook your hand for lion eye only if you have a concrete and solid reason to tell them. Please if you have the link help a brother abeg Nobody can guarantee you visa approval in nairaland. Just do the needful, submit airtight application and talk to your God Goodluck to you. |
