Obviously seller felt rakiti and the $100 guy is same person on different platform or she had offered it off to him at that rate. Whatever stands rakiti has to meet up with the $20 deficit and pay shawarma fees to Sam's guy. Call it spirit of sportsmanship . Shikena.

Seller mentioned that they discussed $100 which only he ($100 guy) did.

Also from experience we know that oyinbo sabi mix buyers up and most times they also assume they're talking to the same person on 2 diff platforms especially when you're both mentioning "meet up at Starbucks"and so on.

The guy on offerup simply told me a seller will be doing a drop off for a laptop and i said no problem. The seller was updating the offerup guy.. i didnt know it was the same laptop in question until the seller messaged me saying im on my way based on the $100 we discussed.

Seller could’ve easily responded to them saying he’s collecting $100 or he has a higher offer like some do.

Secondly did rakiticBarca send the sms from his mobile phone or lionlee’s? I guess the latter.
For all the seller cares it might be a different person with same address.

Thirdly this is a case of Winner takes all.
This site is called OfferUp for a reason. Many people would make their offers but at the end the seller would go for the highest or anyone he prefers in this case lionlee’s guy.
It’s the seller’s right to choose who he deals with and you can’t deny him that.
How many times have we sealed deals with
sellers only for them to ignore us and later say they’ve gotten a better offer?

Finally lionlee doesn’t have any obligation to rakiticBarca or frinx especially in this scenario as seller clearly stated who he’s dealing with.

well, I believe the whole thing is now in the past, but am forced to clarify some point at the bolded because I observed a lot of folks here don't seem to know how lionlee runs his pick up deals as relate to this kind of challenges
If we are to go by his standard of pick up, then it's Frinx' deal.
Lionlee picks for whoever sents the link first and not by who ever has the highest bidding. I observed dragnet got that part wrong in his post.
