Good afternoon guys...
please am working on my application and I want to submit via paper route... the application please do I need to print before filling or should I go ahead and fill it online then print and sign before submission. .

thanks as I await your response

You fill IMM 1294E, IMM 5707E, document checklist form online then Print... Study permit questionnaire print then fill with a pen. The study permit questionnaire only the last two pages is needed.

Any response from the MP

I got a response from the MP representing Saskatchewan. He said he had contacted CIC on my behalf to track my application. But warned they have no authority over CIC.

Good evening, I'm currently processing my application to study Masters in Public Administration at the University of Saskatchewan. I graduated from OAU with a 3.55 CGPA in international relations of which one of the admission requirements is a 75% or B+ in a 4 year undergraduate study. What do you think about my CGPA, does it fit their requirement?

I have no idea on Nigerian GPAs. Did not school here. You have to convert the GPA from Nigerian scale to Canadian scale. The last two years of your study is what they look at. They require nothing less than a B+ average. The single most important thing for admission is what you write in your statement of intent. You really have to inspire them and make them feel like they really need to have you there. Recommendations from past employers and professors and grades are also important. But your statement of intent has to blow them all out of the water. If you craft it well, you might even be nominated by the department for a full scholarship. The MPP is the most revered and extremely selective program and admits less than a dozen students. The MPA you can only get half funding and takes many more students. Good luck!

You will definitely hear from CIC soon and it will turn out to be a good news. Your application can be likened to abiodunne, the guy application spent a year with CIC and he was granted TRV....
Be hopeful.

Respect to gurus and the newbies in this thread!
my wife is considering to go for MBA program in Canada. The program is very key to her cos of the profession she has found herself.
Besides, place of work support study leave, which means she can still come back to continue her job at the end of the program.

Questions
1.what are her chances of gaining admission?
2.which of the MBA schools in Canada can she consider?(tuition fee arround $35k or less)
3. Are there MBA schools that their GRE or GMAT scores are not required or not too higher that can be considered?
4.Any advice?

Honestly, these Canada guys are trying rubbish with Nigerians in Nigeria. I see so many people who submitted via paper route having their passports held for close to 3 months (Exceeding processing times) and still end up been refused?

They cannot try that nonsense outside Nigeria. I applied for Canada visa in London via paper route and I did not submit my passport, no medicals and no police character certificate requested. Imagine holding one’s passport for 3-5 months and no one is complaining about this nonsense?

Same thing with USA visa process. They treat Nigerians like shit in Nigeria. I applied for USA visa in Belfast last year and process was so smooth and orderly. Everyone was smiling.

The major reason one has to just leave Nigeria. Once you get to Canada, you will see how you will be getting visas of other countries easily from Canada. Nigeria no just Dey try. I just feel like ranting on a Sunday, make una forgive me.

For all those still expecting visa approvals, may the Almighty God perfect all that concerns you all.

From the little I know, it's understandable that you can't leave your 2 year old kid behind so don't think that's an issue. Since your hubby isn't coming, you can use him as a home tie, you can add properties if you guys have any.

Sir, you do get more details on this using Google. You can start with this link https://scholarship-positions.com/blog/mba-canada-fees-requirements/201403/
from there, proceed to checking sites of each schools mentioned based on your budget to get more detailed information on required gmat scores, fees, etc.
Her cgpa and working experience in a related business organization will also give her an added advantage in being admitted.

Hope this helps you

Are you sure she does not want to try the Skilled workforce route, she becomes a PR and then she can do her MBA afterwards since you all still plan on migrating to Canada? Cos from what I see above, she qualifies easily. Just a suggestion.

Exactly. I wonder why people are qualified for permanent residence visa and still be wasting time with student visa. With permanent residency, you can do anything in Canada at a reduced cost and can still come back to your job in Nigeria.

Please for someone willing to do PGD in any biological course instead of masters due to low GPA (2.8/5),, what are the general requirements for admission??
